I think it's still a case of "show me the money" with Morgan - he's come nowhere near the kind of finance required to buy out Moores and invest in the club to the levels people expect. His last couple of proposals effectively asked Moores to provide the investment by taking a huge hit on the value of his shareholding in exchange for Morgan owning the club.

Football clubs don't make money so make unattractive investment options. The only profit is reflected glory. So unless you get a friendly and extremely rich fan prepared to plough in serious money it's not as easy as most people want to make out.
