But I guess you have to decide whether two decent crosses merits inclusion on that side at the expense of Lennon who can actually get around the back of defenders, put the ball in, and get up-ended any number of times to win the kind of free kick that Beckham can trot over and take. I think that's true. I'd also say that Gerard seemed to be quite happy to drop back as well, indicating to me that he's not really the solution to playing behind a lone striker...
