Yeah we are going to Athens but we want the league and we need players who can do it week in week out!!! and we dont have that many of them. (5 or 6 at best)How many times do the big players get rested at our place? or the manks or chavski?

For me Pennant should go if we get anything like a decent offer for him Riise will be useful a squad player (2) Fowler and Dudek's contracts run out I think and they won't be resigned. (3) Agree Cisse will be sold (4) Agree Pongolle will be sold (5) Agree LeTallec will be sold (6) Zenden will be allowed to walk (I'd like to see a fee for all the wages he's consumed) Agree Hyypia will be kept on, still got at least another season for me + Carra and Agger aren't the best aerially (7) Agree Crouch will be sold Kewell, if he can prove his worth before end of this season, I'd keep him .. Agger and Carra are both top defenders, but their ability in the air is wothout doubt, questionable. IMO, we need to keep Sami for at least another year.

Lets be honest, at Anfield, he is rarely tested defensively, so his poor positioning and inability/aversion to tackling is not so evident. I can see him keeping his place at home (let's be fair, he is arguably the best attacking left back around). But, envisage Rafa keeping him on the bench (his flexibility make him a brilliant squad member) in tough games at home, and for most away games.
