  1. Threat to what exactly? He's slower than me and I've just had a knee op.

    Robbie Keane

You and me both. It happened 3 times in about 10 minutes, each time Keane was in a far better position than Babel yet the greedy t*** took the far more difficult shot on goal and left Keane stranded. Not sure the arm waving & whining was necessary, but I can understand his frustration.

  5. why tonight though? Why not on Saturday for a game which should (in theory) be far easier?
  6. Very cynical view that, but unfortunately very possibly true.
  7. He is making mistakes though, and they've cost us points. Some would even question whether he's too stubborn to learn from them. Rafa is as good a manager as there is right now, even more so bearing in mind the circumstances he's having to work in, but he's got to learn particularly with regards to the PL. His understanding of European football is excellent, which shows by reaching two CL finals in 3 years, and also the KO stages again this year. If he can reproduce that success domestically...
  8. Personally I think that's exactly what has happened. We can all see things on the pitch are deteriorating, and are all looking for a reason to either justify why it's happening, or to give us something to blame it all on. The s**** with G&H and all the media hysteria associated with it is giving us exactly that. We can vent our frustrations at the most obvious and easiest target, and bang, G&H get it with both barrels.
  9. Only got as far as the first line...
  10. could be that he's just a c**k...
  11. Yep, did notice that. He also gave Rafa no backing whatsoever, but just said `we're working towards the same thing' sort of stuttered reply. Bit strange the way his answers came across.
  12. You smooth b*****d...

    The meeting

I suspect there's a bit more truth in that than you're letting on maybe...?

rafa's tracksuit will be far too big.

    The meeting

from what I've read on various sites, it seems like rafa just can't get hold of the f*****s, and that's what pisses him off more than anything, and is largely to blame for the ill feeling. parry has somehow got hold of the yanks and been bought into the equation, seemingly at parry's own request, and all immediately goes t*** up...coincidence..? if G&H have any sort of sense, they've only got to look at the last 5 games or so, gauge the fans reactions and support, and then give him a friggin contract extension.

    The meeting

that sentence alone is enough to frighten the s*** out of anyone... on a more serious note, I didn't read anything untoward in the article. Rafa says sorry, the yanks slap him around a bit, then accept he's the best man for the job, and we move on... Changing the manager after the improvements we've made since Rafa took over achieves f*** all except we start all over again fron day one. Utterly pointless and far too stupid a decision for G&H to take surely...?
  17. Why, what exactly does he do that we'd miss...?
  18. Torres MUST be fit for the Marseille game. If that means he misses one or both of Bolton & Reading, then so be it. We should be able to beat both Bolton & Reading without Torres, but then again I thought we'd beat Brum.
  19. and exhibition `A' I give.....well, me....
  20. how about we knock down Anfield while we're at it....
  21. history is still that, history. those glory days can still return, regardless of whether we have anew badge or not.
  22. The big difference between Tevez & Masc is that Wet Sham agreed to completely cancel the Hammers/Masc's contract in January, leaving us to deal with Jorbychops directly - hence only 2 parties involved. The Tevez deal has 3 parties involved (Hammers/Tevez/Jorbychops) and that's where it's gone t*** up. At the end of next season, for a pre agreed £10m (to MSI) Masc will become an LFC player with no strings attached. We will own him much like we do Carra/Gerrard etc.. One of the few thumps up to Parry....assuming he was involved.... Or I could be completely wrong.....
  23. bollicks..... the club badge is history. anyone feckin with it should be shagged by a manc season ticket holder....
  24. Doesn't quite work like that. Any part of an image, or a product can be subject to copyright, or intellectual property rights, etc . but for what it's worth, I like the current badge as it is.....
  25. The way the deal appears to be set up means that after the initial 18 month period we get first refusal, and if we want him, he's our player regardless of what else happens, or whatever other club comes in for him. I'm not 100% sure as I'm getting this info 2nd hand, but it could be that we have already committed ourselves to the 10m deal. The post I quoted earlier defo said the money had been set aside already.
