Completely agree, was just thinking that working players who can play like him will help his confidence.

That was impressive. Once we have more players that can move the ball quickly - lucas, suarez, gerrard, I think we'll start to get the best out of hendo.

Yes. Downing needs to head towards the goalmouth when Enrique is motoring down the flank. Otherwise it ends up with our forward being isolated.

The long balls he plays are worth it when it's a pass to someone in the box, but his default is to pass it to a player 60 yards away which causes problems. He's really frustrating and he makes it difficult for us to keep the ball when he plays like that. I'm thankful for his assists, but he needs more to his game. Simple passes.

Strangely enough I was thinking about Luis and Adams tonight. They are both frustrating and capable of the odd moments of brilliance, but Adams gives away the ball in dangerous positions and concedes stupid fouls.
