It's pretty far from the big brother treatment. It's a puff piece trying to make the players and staff seem like nice guys and to make "soccer" seem exciting to a skeptical us audience. We're not the target audience for this TV show, which is why most people don't rate it.

The one thing which strikes me as odd though (not sure if it's been mentioned) is that he obviously did have someone on the inside as he used to release the lineups before anyone else, even if this source didn't give him transfer news. So he's definitely lying at least a little bit, which makes me question the accuracy of everything else he said. That being said he does seem like a good fella..

Yeah we definitely need to formalise a criteria for determining the worst player ever. Something like ((cost + wages over contract) - transfer fee) with something to work out contribution for the duration they were at the club with a bonus for how much the fans disliked the player.
