after alonso got booked gerrard should have put in more tackles and taken more ball winning responsibility. rafa should know that arsenal always try and get xabi booked/sent off, and put this plan b in place. i miss didi too.

just watched the first 6 minutes back, looked and sounded brilliant. a big, big fugg off to lawrenson, the bad moany voiced hom stayed quiet as a mouse.

i'm not saying i don't think he rates it, but it was a bit fishy. no unenforced substitutions? (riise coming off was enforced by his extremely minty game)

don't feel too bad really, thought arsenal edged it, they played some nice stuff and the goals were good ones from their point of view. don't understand the dudek decision at all, and think we would be looking at a replay if pepe was in nets. the alonso booking was key, he was muted after that and gerrard didn't fancy taking his place as the tackling player (surprisingly...). too far away to see whether it was a penno/dive or not. finnan? finnan?? shut up. the protest was great, had my doubts it would go on for the 6 minutes, but we kept it going. hope it looked good.
