Isn't there supposed to be a baggage handlers strike this Sunday and Monday? Just in time for the transfer deadline. Edit: I ask because my boss flew out of Manchester airport yesterday and that's what he said for this weekend. Not sure if it's just Manchester or all of the UK.

Don't forget Rafa gave Speedy Gonzales a go as our left midfielder. I think he might end up being a usefull player for someone else but was bought to early to LFC as the lad was not mentally strong enough to play in the Premiership. Speedy would have benefitted from a year in the reserves but Kewell being injured for the 9848367273 time, Rafa rushed him in. Oh well back to this seasons transfer saga.

No I wouldn't. I would have emailed back, look forward to your responce. I was asked to raise the issues directly by someone who has been directly involved with SOS and a previous spokeman and I did. The issues are still there as evidence of this thread since I emailed. But nice of you to tell me what I would have done or do you mean that's what you would have done.

Can you tell me if I joined i'd get a quicker responce to my emails? Does it cost a tenner to get replies, is that what your saying? It seems the stock answer when people bring up issues is, you should join. Is it only supporters who join who get answers. Is it only those supporters who want G&H out are those who join? Some posters in various forums have highlighted the "locals" only aspect of SOS. Away coach travel is irrelivant in the main. What most saw SOS as is an organization to hold the owners to account, to bring up supporters issues with the club for the benefit of all supporters. If SOS want to have cheap coach travel and special do's locally, no problem. But the main reason supporters throughout the world will join is not because of coach travel and do's is it? So when real issues arise such as the fallout from the last event at Anfield with the SOS spokesman this is not addressed, when supporters have legitimate concerns over what SOS stands for. To be fair we all know they are volunteers at this point. There is a management committee. Knox has done some work on their behalf. He suggested I email them as apparently they don't read the threads. So I would have thought I would at least get a responce that we are in receipt of your email and will get back to you. Wasn't expecting a formal declaration of policy on the subject matter. But if they had one that I would at least be kept in the loop when they issue it. But it's been a almost a week and no responce. Disappointing to say the least.

I thought Heskey did alright when he came on. If England are going to play wide and send crosses in Heskey is better than Defoe. More of a target. But then again so is Crouch. Wayne Rooney is not a midfielder yet that's where he plays. He may be able to do that for his club but it bogs down England when all Rooney can do is shoot from 25-30 yards. If Rooney is to be a striker then he needs to get his a*** in the box and leave space for Gerrard and the fat one to fill.

Wasn't worried about your point. Was just making a point over how much not buying something doesn't cost the club the full price is all. As another example; If 5,000 people don't buy the shirt--isn't that about 1 week of Gerrards salary. Not one transfer target missed. I think that is what others are trying to point out about a boycott. For it to be effective it will need to be massive. Anyone who wants to can make that personal decision to boycott. I have bought less meself. But I don't think it's having much of an impact on the club tbh.

Only it's not £40 though. The club have to buy the shirt from Adidas, have it shipped, and sell it through their shops or online. ( as do other retailers). So even if the club makes 50% profit on 1 shirt, that's £20 profit. Which means it really takes twice as many not buying the shirt to amount to much. Of course that is what most people don't take into consideration is what the profit per item is and not the actual purchase price. So if 5,000 people don't but the shirt, that's not £200,000 the club loses out on, it may only be £100,000.

Really. As you have sussed it out along with Oliver Kay, can you tell us when Rafa will leave? After the Sunderland match? before the Standard Liege match? before the new year? After the new year? After the season is over? Rafa is going nowhere. And imho, will be manager next season, too. That's not to say the tea leaves won't be rewatered by the media to keep this story active as long as possible.

So it boils down to Rafa letting off steam from time to time. Rafa having a whinge. And some jounalists using that to sell papers. Rafa is going nowhere.

You're Rick Parry and I claim my 5 quid. Put it in writing. I get it. So I get an email answer back. That is not my point. I'm sure various members of the management committee peruse various forums and can see this for themselves. It seems to me this is a broader issue than one person sending in an email to notify SOS that SOS have to already know about. If you advise me that the only way this issue will be looked at by the management committee is for me to email them, will do.

Well I agree to a certain extent. Hicks wants Parry out. Gillett wants to keep him. Maybe it's George and Parry working together and we're back to the split in the boardroom.
