I'll await the torrent of abuse back, but I'm struggling to see how anyone can see any positives from today's result & performance, which is one of way too many similar ones recently. I was thinking through some of the things that happened today, and there are far too many bad indicators that happen too often, and we don't seem to have a plan B. For example: - When Torres is out & Stevie is not 100% we have no goal threat. I'd be surprised if there's any argument with that. - Kuyt will never be the guy to be the one guy up top. He's a great team guy, but not that man. - I was stunned that after Wednesday's great performance that Yossi was not starting - what ever happened to playing the men in form? - Subs at 60 minutes - the team on the pitch were not doing the job (i.e. were losing) and Rafa still persists with waiting until 60 minutes for subs??? - Skrtel at RB....no idea why we would do that, unless to protect Carra. Another bizarre team selection. Overall I'm gutted....ridiculous game to lose, and Boro were poor too. I do question what the 'plan' is.... Way too many games in the Prem where we have just not turned up. Madrid was great, but a flash in the pan in the past few months performances. I'd be interested to see if a 'Statto' on here could track our (reverse) progress this season in terms of points at what time, and then map on when Rafa started with his rants and 'facts'. I have a feeling the downturn might map closely to that time...... Totally deflated - and I think understandably so.
