No Roque Junior? They'll win it again so.. Luisao is a rock. I'd say it was a tough call between Fred and Nilmar fo the last place..

Christ.. His Rangers connections should go down well with the Chav morons over here..

Fat ar2e Rooney better Gerrard?? People would want to be smoking crack to think that.

Looks great that... Totally wipes the floor with everyone too. Now for the Grail to top that! It'd look like we've never been away.

That is horrible.. Really hits home..

Why didn't he take Moro instead of Del Horno who's been abject this season? Marchena's a good defender. Wierd decision but then again Aragones is a tad mad.

I think he's a special player too but he's injured, not back til August.

Not a vintage squad at all.. Metzelder and Nowotny are only back this season after major injuries. Huth is a major weak point. In midfield. No Fabian Ernst either? Only Frings and Kehl can do the "Didi" role so.. Don't see much point in bringing Neuville either along with Odonkor.

It's utter madness isn't it? Also didn't take Kuryani and have deprived themselves of a target man. Moro not going is a shock. He links well with Raul and Villa is still very unproven at international level but top class most of the time in La Liga.

Tradition, heritage?? They're still second and they're "struggling"?

He should've went to Madrid. A prestigous club looking for leadership on the pitch and a new Messiah.. He's just gone to that lot for the dough and will be relegated to being Lumplard's lieutenant.

Best thing in life.. The one constant thing throughout.. Brilliant.. I'm privileged to be a disciple.. Feel like a chosen one after days like that yesterday.

Add Ray Kennedy to that list.. You know what though I agree with you. There's something really special about Steven Gerrard. A player who just won't be denied, the God's were against us yesterday (og, Reina mistake and a fluke) but he just wouldn't let it go easily.. A Colossus, an out and out Footballing Colossus!

Awesome day!!! Was in Sinnott's in Dublin and the place was jammed. Atmosphere was unreal. Got home at 4 this morning... Watched the match again thei morning.. Unbelieveable game. Stevie is a colossus, best player in the world. Mr. Perpetual Motion. Blubbed a bit watching the Cardiff montage from Owen's 2001 final to Gerrard's goal... Moving stuff.

Gutted for him.

Xabi looked like he was limping getting of the team bus.

Lethal in front of goal though.

He's the favourite player of Roman's son. Go figure.. 7 shirt for Chelsea next year..

Rather have Joaquin than either...

Rafa has said that he's trying to tie up his main signings before the World Cup. I think with our preparations this week it's kinda slowed him up. I'd expect a staetment of some intent on which striker we're after before June.

Yep he is... Got up there a fair bit when it didn't clash with Newcastle games.

Shearer like Beardsley before is a big Celtic fan.. Seriously.
