Having the likes of Scholes, Ronaldo and Giggs would give any central mid a hell lot more to work with, even if they're just Fletcher and O'Shea I agree that our movement is s***, and at times they play too deep, but you gotta wonder whether the players around them are getting in the right positions to give them options.

I don't think it's overrated, they still control games from the middle like no other, but offensive-wise it's not creating as many chances for us as we hope they would

Surprised that Gonzalez doesn't get more starts, Pennant's a good crosser but he doesn't have the blistering pace that Gonzalez do have and he's a great cross as well.

This season he's the only defender who's performing up to his usual standards And at times being left to cover up the centre backs' woeful mistakes

Having looked at the two goals again, the first one was unlucky as it clearly took a deflection off whoever's foot and sent the ball further to the corner. Also some diabolical defending from the wall The 2nd was a towering header and Reina couldn't get more on it to tap it over the bar which was what he was trying to do. Can't blame him, beaten by the immense power

And also we ain't providing Bellamy with any worthwhile service anyway due to our unbelievably s*** final ball Kuyt would really relish playing off Crouch anyway IMO

The only thing I don't like about the rotation thing is the rotation of the back four It's unnecessary, particularly when our back 4 hasn't done well at all this season, gives it even less reason to change it. Bellamy I think is persisted with due to the notion that we need pace upfront, but you gotta play your best strikers and Bellamy isn't one of our best two atm. Also Crouch was very vital to our away form improvement last season due to his hold up play and his ability to win and keep the ball up the field. Don't understand why he doesn't start in the league (When was the last time he started in the league?). Him and Kuyt would monster defences

Captains have got to set the example on the pitch, whilst I ain't saying we should replace him, he just isn't setting the right example out there atm. His failings this season would be more as a player (Where he's seriously underperforming) rather than as a leader/captain

You were basically saying Reina was asking for something like this to be done to him, which I already said is bulls*** If the refs and linesmen sat in their little room before the game and talked about Reina's tendancy to overstep and thus they must do something about it, which led to that piss poor decision, then it makes the decision even worse. That would mean they had an agenda as they went out there instead of judging each situation on its merits It's the same as them continually booking Momo when he's done nothing, just because he has a reputation to fly in challenges
