Beckham and Gerrard are different examples, they played and were boss on the right. Henderson's looked a fish outta water most times he's played there, and has looked good when played centrally He doesn't have Beckham and Gerrard's vision and ability to play a great ball in consistently, and certainly can't burst down the right like Gerrard can He's great at presenting and keeping things ticking over in the middle, and a lot other things. His attributes kinda point to him being more of a CM

We keep talking about Van Persie carrying his club, but the thing is, his other teammates are at least very capable of putting him in good positions to end on the end of stuff. He can finish, the problem is, no one bar Gerrard's really creating chances for him. Suarez creates a lot of our chances and his own chances, don't think he's had a tap in this season.

Well Henderson can be a good third option if he keeps developing, and Spearing, too. But you're right though, probably need real cover for Lucas and a young CM in the summer Don't think Henderson will be playing as much on the right next season, Kenny would've identified him as a future CM mainstay for the club before he bought him

We can't always just sell whoever wants to go, otherwise Gerrard wouldn't be here a long time ago. Sometimes you need to do your best to convince your best players to stay even when they don't wanna, Arry did that with Modric this season and they benefited greatly from that. Fergusonc*** and Wenger has done it over the years as well If we wanna start being one of the top sides in the country then we need players like Suarez to stay, and we should be doing absolutely everything in our power to make that possible, even when he wants out sometimes. All this sentimentality/club bigger than player thing only sounds good in principle but doesn't always work like that

He might've been fantastic in other things this season, but if you judge a striker like him by goals then he's gotta have had a poor season. His finishing's been appalling, he doesn't finish like this for Ajax and for his country, he's definitely snatching at chances Then again, he plays his own game out there, unlike last season when he was effective within a system that are all on his wavelength. The players we have on the pitch with him atm just don't play the same style as him, and he has to do all the work on his own We have to be very careful about buying players of his style to play next to him next season if he's still with us
