As Stevie said, he was shoe-horned into the 12th June honours (The Queen's official birthday).

He only got it at the next honour's ceremony. It was announced he would almost immediately after though. Ellen MacArthur was similar - they announced it there and then and gave her the little medal thingy later.

I only saw about half of the game, but Burton got the result by playing football properly. Like Luton did against us. None of the hit and hope, hurly-burly of traditional 3rd round near upsets either. Bloody refereshing to see it. Unfortunately its not going to do either side much good in the leagues they are in though. United did have the quality on the pitch to get a much better result although they haven't got the strength in depth I thought they did looking at what was on show even taking some poor form into account.

Whitbread is a tall guy - not difficult standing out against Everton when they have Ferguson on the pitch if you are a tall defender. It would have been an aerial bombardment the likes of which London hasn't seen since 1940...route 1, crazy gang style, direct long ball b******s - bread and butter stuff for a tall defender who has watched Sami for more than five minutes...
