  1. That may well be true but it doesn't stop his writing from being clickbait, irrational s***e.
  2. The weirdest part being going for this style of player when he wouldn't even entertain the idea of Carroll upon arriving. And yes, I'm aware that Benteke is a much better player, but he's still a very similar player in terms of style.
  3. Not really, a lot of folks always had doubts despite trying their best to warm to him due to his lack of CV. Plus Klopp is on another planet when it comes to being charismatic.
  4. His post-match comments were brilliant. Paraphrasing but along the lines of "it's over here for long ball/set piece teams. No more!"
  5. I think he's just going through an adjustment period to a new league. There's enough sparks there now and then to suggest he will come good by the start of next season (hopefully!) Plus unlike most of our players he's always trying to play the clever pass that will split the defense, which statistically will always fail more than it succeeds eg Garcia, which tends to frustrate most fans. As frustrating as it is though we still need that player.
  6. 4th place no longer qualifies if a team outside the top 4 wins the CL does it?

  8. Because our commercial revenue has gone up dramatically since he took over that area of things. Don't intentionally play dense.
  9. To be fair to Ayre that's the one area none us can really criticize him for.

  12. This is gonna be just like that scene in Casino where all the elderly mobsters suddenly take ill before trial.
  13. Well I moved abroad so I have no choice but to criticize from home. Never left early when I did go though, what's the f***ing point of going at all? As the guys on TAW have rightly said, there's probably too many people there who've seen too much football, should give it a rest for a while. I really think they should introduce a system where folks can give up their season ticket for a period of time to people who never get a chance to go, without having to lose it.
  14. Yeah he was referring to people leaving on 82 minutes.
  15. About time it was said, well in Jurgen!
  16. It feels like there's been more breaks than ever, or is it just my imagination?
  17. Maybe you need to get more EXCITED!
  18. I can't see a day I ever won't love him.
  19. Link to it anywhere by any chance?
  20. Well there's the problem, playing Gerrard in a 2 man midfield was a bad idea even when he was mobile!
  21. I remember someone brought it up on Sky Sports News and the presenters freaked out. Here it is, the same guy actually: http://youtu.be/GmCtci6cen8
  22. Unfortunately the links to it on the offal are now dead. It was called "pako ayestaran: the big interview". Haven't got a clue where else I could find it. Anyway, he'd be far from the first person involved in the club to bring up the mentality issue surrounding it. When Klopp mentioned it this weekend he seemed genuinely confused.
  23. I wish I could find the interview, it was years ago on the offal. I remember it actually being very fascinating, I'm probably paraphrasing him pretty poorly.
  24. He said something about not understanding the defeatist attitude after conceding, it's just football. Remember Pako saying similar back in the Rafa days. The attitude of the whole city, never mind that of the club, would probably be what prevents us from gaining major success was along the lines of what he said. I always thought he wasn't far wrong.
  25. Thank you sir!
