  1. Spot on there. I was waiting for someone to blame him for Carra's own goal and I´m surprised that no one has done that yet. Dossena really has no chance on this forum...
  2. Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal all have to play at WHL later in the season. Lets just hope that Redknapp can get some points off them at home too. It´s far from over and we were bound to loose a league game at some point. But just look at the away games we have played, Everton, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Man City, Tottenham. If someone would have told me that we would only loose one out of those games before the season I would have been happy with that.
  3. Just our luck, we are gonna be the first team they play at home with Redknapp at the helm (not taking into account that he will be in the dressing room prior todays match). Going to be extremely tough playing at WHL next weekend. They play Arsenal away on wednesday and will probably loose. They will be looking to the game against us to start getting some wins under their belt. Really afraid that after next weekend we could be looking at two losses in the league...
  4. If we loose tomorrow we will be level on points with Hull City. Who would have thought that after 9 games into the season ?!!
  5. Aguero not going to start ? This is from www.soccernet.com "Atletico have lost Czech Republic defender Tomas Ujfalusi to injury and are likely to field a number of squad players ahead of next weekend's trip to face Villarreal in the league. Weary Argentina striker Sergio Aguero could start on the bench." Good news for us if he is on the bench
  6. A video of Torres injury... seems like hamstring to me. Linky
  7. Your bank account with IceSave ?
  8. hehe... good one ! You are just a sore looser
  9. I´m so happy ! My team is topping the ynwa.tv table thank you very much. My 3 strikers are on form right now, Torres has 4 in the last 2 games, Defoe scores in almost every game and Carlton Cole is chipping in with some hard work and goals also. Long may this continue (just not when these guys play against Liverpool).
  10. This comment means we will now loose our next league and Champs League game ! Do you realise what you have done ?
  11. Yep, I think they drew with Chelsea and Arsenal away last season and they beat Chelsea at home also. They were unlucky in both these away games if I remember correctly.
  12. We drew with Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier in the season... Villa are playing really well now and are only 1 point behind us. Is there someone on here that thinks that this Villa Park 0-0 draw was a bad result ? We weren't playing well at the time, Gerrard injured and Torres hobbling off after 20 mins and yet many people were really unhappy that we didn't win the game. I can't understand that... I was happy with the draw there and it seems to me that Villa will not drop many points at home this season. (but my guess is they will of course loose against United because they always seem to do a no show when they play them !)
  13. I wouldn't say they have been unconvincing in other games. They have actually played quite well this season and should be considered as title challengers. Everyone is saying they lost many players and got no replacements. Hleb didn´t score much for them and they bought Nasri instead and he seems to score a lot more. They actually didn´t need to replace Flamini because they have young players who can perform in the engine room like he did for them. I actually think Arsenal have a stronger squad then last season... But your right about the sense of perspective, nobody should loose their cool after a draw at home with Stoke. Lets loose the cool if we get beat by Everton
  14. Well... Man Utd have scored 4 goals this season and they now have the same amount of points as they did after 4 games last season. Look what they achived after a shaky start last season ! We alse had 11 points after 5 games last season, what can we make of that ? No cups for us, season over in january and only the semi-finals of the Champs league ? Hope not.
  15. When Carrick went off injured our midfield won almost every midfield battle for the rest of the game. I think he has a massive influence on United's midfield when he plays and his performances are often underestimated. We were lucky Carrick got injured. I still think we would have won that game if Carrick hadn´t got injured but it made things better for us when he went off.
  16. I think some people forget quickly... Aurelio actually did a good job in my opinion last season, good crosses and he improved a lot on the defending side. But he is injury prone and got injured at a crucial stage last season so we had to rely on Riise at the end of the season.... and he made us pay !
  17. To clear things up I´m an IcelandicLiverpoolFan
  18. You all are a bunch of tossers..... but you make me laugh Must... remember.... this.... is.... a transfer thread !!
  19. This is a transfer thread... please stop this (or start a new thread where you can all go crazy with this).
  20. And the beauty of it is that nobody on SkySports have picked up on that we have one of the best keepers in England (Europe). As a result Pepe doesn´t get that much attention which means less pressure. Just look at Cech's blunders last season and at the Euros but he is still considered the best keeper in the Prem...
  21. Nothing on the web and in todays papers about Keane to Liverpool... Starting to worry that something has come up.
  22. Seems to me they have closed the door on this bet...
  23. Really really happy now !
  24. It´s all about possibilities no ?
  25. I read this article the other day and I thought it was complete bullscheit. It would be fair to write this article once the transfer window is closed, then we can see how much money was spent in transfers....
