I am just concerned (like many others) that we are far too easy to play through in the middle of the park, even in the friendlies we have seen this, we just haven't replaced Fabinho. I don't think Dom has the discipline to play in a 'midfield 2' and I'm not sure Grav has the physicality to be the '6' and I'm not sure Wharton is the answer either. FWIW, I think we will get Barcola eventually, however, there are glaring gaps in the squad which will be severely exposed over the next few months. I was excited when we appointed Iraola but I think he has been dealt the most sh*te hand in regard of backing. Considering we won the league 15 months ago, does anyone think we 'realistically' can win the title this year, I don't, extremely frustrating

Gordon isn't everyone's cup of tea but he has pace and a bit of nark - both of which we are severely lacking at the moment. Not seen enough of Diomande but wary of the 'he looks great in the Bundesliga' view particularly at the prices quoted and also the fact that Wirtz and Frimpong were seen as major coups and have failed so far. Olise would be the dream but don't think he'll be available now.

Arsenal are going to stroll to the title unchallenged, yet what is massively conspicuous by its absence is the 'the premier league is weak' argument that only seems to appear when we are top of the league.....

A few weeks back, with the top 3 seemingly out of reach, all it would take was one of United or Chelsea to sort themselves out and we'd be in trouble regarding top 4. This already seems to be the case. Today, after the results from the past few weeks, with Fulham only 2 points behind and Brentford, Newcastle, Sunderland and the sh*te a further point back, I'm not even confident we'll quality for Europe. You have to ask, how much longer are they going to persevere with him? Particularly as performances aren't improving, are we completely in 'European Cup or bust' territory?

Not sure if mentioned previously but when Frimpong broke through on the right in the 2nd half, it was almost a carbon copy of the 'offside goal' he scored against us in the CL last season which he finished nicely, however this time he was just looking to pass it - Just shoot ffs
