Last season's squad certainly appears to have been better. The tragic loss of Diogo, letting Diaz go, Trent walking out the door. They're the big ones. Even Quansah and Elliott would help and I totally understood why the club took the money for them. I can't believe that we bought Wirtz and Isak but look s***e but so far, here we are.

Yeah. The form has gone and we rarely get anything there. Mancs at home feels different though.

Plenty would say the rest of the league handed it to us last year. Its bitter s***e.

Biggest question I have of Slot is how he deals with us being behind. We didn't see it much last season thankfully but it often feels a but like just taking off defenders and chucking on attackers. I remember it in the league cup final and feels like its happened a few times since. A worrying lack of a plan. Hopefully we don't see it much more because we get back to not falling behind.

2 weeks in a row I was reasonably content with an away point after poor performances for them to give it away at the very end. Massively disappointing.

Hard to escape the feeling that we just made too many changes to a good team. I know several were enforced but still.

A win here would feel huge.

He just wanted a new deal and he deserved one. We made it clear he wasn't getting one so he looked to move.

We've all seen it so many times but its so hard to stop it once things start turning to s***. Momentum and confidence are huge. Just need a moment but hard to find it. Would be a lovely time for Isak or Wirtz (off the bench) to announce their arrival.
