    I could only see it if City lost their csse, were relegated and he went all 'the club told me we did nothing wrong and I trusted them' to distance himself. I don't think any of those things happen.

    Just looked and we are 2 points off 4th. I think the club will only act if CL qualification looks in genuine threat. They'll think top 4 is ok for what could be considered a transition season with but player turnover on the back of winning the title. Reading that and it seems reasonable. Problem is we look so bad and I've no confidence it improves.

    We'll beat PSV and then lose at West Ham I reckon.

    Its not much mitigation but annoyingly the Forest we played is different to the one for most of the season which has them 19th. Unfortunately the same goes for West Ham next.

    I've definitely mentally reached the 'can't judge them until they've played under the new manager' stage. Which isn't great as I don't believe Slot goes anywhere for a fair while.

    He just can't deal with us losing. He chucks all the attackers on with no plan. We first saw it at Wembley and he's as bad now.

    Getting smashed at City meant it was over for me. Yeah. It is horrible. I thought he was a cool genius.

    Defeats hurt more when they matter. I felt like death when we lost to Palace because I thought we were going to win the title. Now we're in the death spiral and the title is none of our concern so it doesn't hurt anywhere near as much.
