Can't be PSG surely. -
Funny how managers always sound really cool when they're winning but like d****eads when they're losing.
-
Agree totally. Otherwise it's only Szoboszlai in the squad next season.
-
I'll be annoyed if he doesn't score from the half way line.
-
He plays for Palace.

Arteta f***ing up the league title would bring me joy regardless of what we do. -
I don't think this place is particularly vitriolic. Twitter, sure. We're all too old and tired.
-
Always felt like there or Chelsea.

Any normal club would absolutely get a centre back in before the end of the window.

He should have had much more time, regardless of what Slot and Conrad think. -
Frank hasn't won the league to be fair. Sacking Slot is a much bigger consideration. I think they should, but the situation isn’t comparable.
-
The relentlessness of it probably. The crushing dismissal of any lingering hope that things might permanently improve. Mate of mine can't believe I want us to sack a league winning manager at this point. Says he is surprised at my lack of patience. I think he's talking s***e.
-
Ah ok. Thought I had read he had a few left. I don't think he'll go anywhere till the summer anyway.

We are terribly coached and show no organisation at all. We can't defend set pieces and he has shown plainly that he can't resolve it. We are painfully dull to watch. His substitutions are awful and regularly make us worse, with the players seemingly not knowing what they should be doing. We have 5 wins since September in the league. We lost 9 games in 12 earlier in the season. Not won in the league in 2026. Frequently drop points in the last seconds. God knows where we'd be without the 5 wins at the start of the season. At home, we have been beaten by 3 goals by Forest and PSV. Lost to Amorim's Man Utd. Failed to beat any of the promoted sides. Our best players - van Dijk, Salah, Mac Allister are without fail playing as poorly as we've ever seen. Even Alisson doesn't look himself. Only Szoboszlai in the whole squad has played at any consostent level all season. He fell out with Mo to the point he told the world he had no relationship at all with his manager. He doesn't seem able to motivate the players. We now almost always run considerably less than the opposition. Klopp's team seems a million miles away. He routinely tells the world that he can't coach his side to overcome 'low blocks'. To the point that even Steven Gerrard told him to stop going on about it. I don't hate Slot. He is obviously a good man. He won us a league title. He dealt with taking over from Klopp really well and also the Jota situation with absolute class. I hate that this is happening to him. But he has to go now. I have no idea if it would improve with a new manager. There are obviously many issues with the squad. But equally, there is much still to play for and one of Europe's most sought after young coaches, who has a real connection to the club and has managed Wirtz to great success before, is available. All while Slot is out of contract in a few months and appears unlikely to get a new one. Seems mad not to make the change now and try to salvage something. Arne needs to go with all our genuine thanks and best wishes but he absolutely does need to go.

Even after the numerous s*** results, this one really hurts.

Not while a new manager might expect them to spend some money. -
