I would agree that he is playing out of position and it is doing him no favours. However, it is apparent loss of touch and passing that worries me. There are many times even when he has been asked to play wide on the right that he doesnt attack the far post when there is a cross coming from the left..In fact, he is stood static outside the box. I know he scored loads of goals in Holland but so did Kezman so perhaps that isnt a yardstick. You are right that the partnership with Voronin defyed belief. Similarly, I agree with a lot you say but disagree with others. Thanks for he post though.

I think I am entitled to my opinion. As I said, I do not like posting negative posts but I cannot see what he offers other than industry. From the short life of this post, it is plain to see that supporters are very split over his merits. Forums are about posting opinions good or bad. Saying that every player is good is nore more valid than saying every player is bad. I base my views on 32 + years of watching LFC so I think I am entitled to a view

For me, Kuyt has very little to offer. With all due respect, industry and hard work is the Minimum we should get from every player. Kuyt has no pace, a poor touch, not inventive or intelligent and not a particularly good finisher when he manages to get into the box. With most strikers you can usually put them into some sort of bracket such as quick, clever, a good finisher, good in the air or even hold the ball up well but with Kuyt yhe is none with the exception that he is honest. This for me is the only thing that puts him ahead of Shaun 'Mick' Dundee or even Paul Stewart. In fact I's sooner have fellow dutchman 'Mad' Eric Meijer I dont think I am being unfair here but I have watched him very closely in games this season (not on TV) and he is very poor. At Wigan, some of the positions he took up were unbelievable to say the least. Nice bloke he maybe be but I think we need to cut our losses IMHO Sorry for being negative

Kuyt He is an embarrassment. Has been for a long time. No pace, no touch, poor finishing...no effing good

Have to agree. I think work rate is a minimum that should be given to the team. Personally, he'd be my 4th Choice striker. Honest pro, top bloke but not enough quality. He actually doesnt do anything really well...other than run. Cash in IMHO.

Patrice Burgues There was definately a slump after he left as apparently the players were very close to him. I havent seen anything reported about how close they were to Pako. Slump or no slump, undefeated or not, I think it is fair to say the that the general level of performance had dipped slightly since Pako left. However, whether is can attributed to him, I dont know. As has been pointed out, we are unbeaten and I am sure a convincing win v Birmingham on Sat will get us back on track esp as either filth or Chavs must drop points

Yes Rush was sold for £3.2 million and brought back for £2.8 million. As mentioned, the cash received in Summer of 87 was used for Barnes, Beardsley and Houghton. In 1987, it was muted that to keep Rush they wold have to put up entrance by about 1.50 a man. They may not sound a lot now but in them days, it was about 3.50 in the Kop

This is correct. In the summer of 1988, we were in for Gazza big time as Kenny was a big admirer. They would speak regularly. Howver, we spend £2.8 million on bringing Rushie back from Juventus and the budget was gone. Except or £40,000 on one Nicky Tanner

We had to sell 10% of the club to Granada for IIRC £22m to fund them deals

I can relate to Snorky and Paul B (BTWI think you may have been on my flight last night). Presumably you saw the murder in the airport? I can honestly say that I will no longer making Euro trips again. I will watch them on the TV. The whole thing from start to finish was a nitemare. Some of the goings on were disgraceful. When 'our' fans are mugging older fellow fans for tickets, it is, for me, time to call it a day.

John Regis, Platini going in Hotel Grande Bretagne (t***) Oh and Harvey, Jordon's son beggin for cash in Syntagma Sq

The Kop was great. It could be terrifying on Derby day or against the filth if you got pinned against a crush barrier. The queues in the mid 80's could be a nitemare especially to get in The £1.70 for under 16s as most in there were about 30. Fave chant for me was when Shilton came to the Kop to be greeted with "He's shot he's c**..all over Tina's bum" after being caught in his Jag playing away with Tina!!

Glenn cost £650,000 from Fiorentina and was hailed as a major signing. He was the Swedish captain and had had great games again Lineker and England in the late 1980's. In the Charity Shield game in aug 89, IIRC he win man of the match and had a really good first season in our last league title win. Howver, his legs were going and like the team, his performances were on the slide. He never gave less than 100% and a true pro.

Redknapp..not only did he steal cash of us for 5 of his ten years..he is now content to slag us off. Bumming up his fat cousin when he was completely anonymous.. The man is a disgrace and i fookin hate him

can you be sure about that?? No offence to nebraska red -
Pepe is just making far too many errors. At the moment he is virtually at an error a game. I think dudy should be given a run if only to put a rocket up Reina's ar$e Any thoughts??
