  2. It was better than I'd feared. They were reasonably tough on him, and he came across as whiny and incoherent.
  3. The g******* will be on the wireless shortly, http://newstalk.ie/newstalk/wmp64.html ... it'll almost certainly be s***.
  4. Kicking the ball out of play. As in, Alonso versus Arsenal when Fabregas got "injured".

  6. Was on in North America also as I watched it in Canuckland.
  7. Alumina, who looks like a a seagull s*** on his head, was outfoxed... but the fact that Rooney kicked the ball straight out of play in order to knock it past him... and his legs went before he was even touched... and the fact Arsenal had a good shout turned down in the exact same spot 15 minutes earlier does make it slightly galling.
  8. c***ing OG. I'm finished watching this.
  9. Rooney played for it, but brainless goalkeeping.
  10. c****. He'd lost control of the ball.
  11. John L Torres Reina ShoutouttoKuyt for the part he played in the goal Torres scored.

  13. Gettin. f***in brilliant. He scored a similar one against us. But I enjoyed that one much more.
  14. Agree completely. GJ is really impressive. Just what we needed. Shame we're now weaker at centre mid, so Johnson is compensating for that weakness as opposed to helping us push on. Still early doors though. Incidentally, not sure what countries it was on in, but after the game, Pat Dolan on Setanta gave a spot on summary of conditions Rafa is working under at the moment. Unusual to hear someone on the telly not talking insipid inaccurate s****.
  15. I'd go along with that.
  16. Nice Work. I was looking forward to this.
  17. 1. John L 2. Gerrard 3. Kuyt
  18. Cheers for that, it worked a treat.
  19. Exactly, it wasn't an act of charity. It was hardly even a risk getting him on loan. Rafa was really astute to get in there before anyone else. It was obvious that he was a top player from his displays for Argentina, and was never going to be left to rot in West Ham's reserves. It would be great if it was his life's aspiration to play for us, but I suppose Spain / Barca are the more traditional home for argentiansuperstarfootballers. He probably will be off at the end of the season, which is a shame cause he's great and will be tough to replace. Till then though, as long as he's crazily committed as ever, it'll be great watching him sprint into tackles for us.
  20. Indeed. Though you'd think benayoun probably has the edge given his away day heroics last season.
  21. Good use of a semi-colon; I choose to believe you.
