Jesus f***ing christ, is this how its going to be now? We don't need to slag off our other strikers constantly just because we've brought Robbie back. How on earth you can make an argument based upon an offside goal is just ridiculous. Morientes set up (another) goal, laid one on a plate for Garcia, and kept the Brum back 4 on the back foot constantly. He didn't score correct, but again whats the difference between a striker who scores 20 goals and a striker who scores 10 and sets up another 10? I've converted plenty of offside goals in football matches, does that make me a better bet then Morietes and Crouch?

Yes there is.

For me it was good, not spectacular (apart from one transfer obviously) but we're stronger because of our dealings. We've got center back cover in Agger, so we're protected there, a new right back to replace Josemi, and a striker with a proven record at Anfield. Could have done with a winger, but you can't have it all.

Berger. I was always a big fan of his, and when he was free of injuries and playing regularly with confidence, he was great.

4 in a row

I'm a Defoe fan as well

Oh definitely, but would any ban he picked up tonight come into effect for the Chelsea game?

After reading all of those, I've just run up and down several flights of stairs, lost 5 stone and knocked out Mr T.

I think we'll go with a fairly settled team, but I wouldn't be surprised if Agger comes in at the back. Reina Finnan Carra Agger Riise Gerrard Momo (could well be rested to avoid picking up another booking) Alonso Kewell Crouch Morientes With God on the bench.

Can't believe he's 29 already.

2139: SENDING-OFF Jason Roberts (Wigan) Roberts is shown a straight red after elbowing David Weir

That must have been what I was hoping on. Nah its for the predicition league. Just opened the thread up to see what I'd put for the scores and noticed I'd decided Sunderland were going to beat Boro 1-0.

Why the feck did I think Sunderland were going to fluke a win today?

If Arsenal don't try their luck for him, they really are dim.

Good use of articles

No, but they were trying to construct a building in space! Where you can only do so much work at a time before you need to have another shuttle launch (which were delayed following Columbia) to bring up the next bit, and the workforce changes every couple of months. You can't go outside very often and if you make a mistake everyone dies and the whole things f***ed. And they're still beating us!

Bloody Wembley. It was supposed to start at the same time as the fecking International Space Station! How the hell is it easier to put something together in orbit, faster and more effieciently then to build a stadium on the surface?

Well I'm convinced

Oh dear. Poor sad git. Who were we playing for his final game?

That is fecking cringeworthy

Tomorrow 1:30pm GMT. It's on BBC2 I think. Unfortunately I'll be in a Uni lesson at the time
