I haven't seen anything to suggest that Kuyt, Crouch or Voronin can play upfront either Disagree with people who says Babel is not a striker or rather I at least claim he's a forward (ie a player operating slightly downfield from a player like Torres yet spends a considerable amount inside the oppo's box). I'm in the Torres-Babel upfront-camp because I believe Babel is our most gifted player in terms of running with the ball, taking on/getting past players and finishing bar Fernando. Yes he is largely untested in the forward role for us and I'm not sure how he and Fernando would click but I think it's worth a shot. He has played there for other teams before and Villa would be the perfect game to give it a try. Ideally I see Babel as a wider attacker in the Barcelona 433-way: RB CB CB LB ......Masch ..Gerrard...Xabi Yossi...Torres...Babel <-- Win us the PL this would (thank god I have a built in spell checker or Kahnee would have my ass kicked)

Hopefully Rafa will start playing Torres and Babel at the top soon. Crouch will not get more playing time from that. I think he's on the best contract he could ever get elsewhere and his next move will surely be to a smaller club. So naturally he'll stick along a bit longer. Would be a shame to let him leave for free though.
