Wouldn't it be hilarious if there was a Sc***horpe forum out there with the same automatic censorships rules. Honestly, I'm not sure about KK's managerial skills these days. But he did do well overall during is last spell at the club and I think Toons could have made a lot worse appointment (in fact by merit i expected them to). I think he could actually be a better "man-manager" than Rafa is, in terms of motivating player, keeping them happy etc.

Could it be that the microphones are placed pretty much evenly around the stadium. But since the away supporters that sings are more concentrated in one particular area whereas singing home supporters are more spread out but in larger numbers the TV sounds make it seem like the away end is more loud? My theory anyways

I think we have a few players in Kewell, Pennat, Benayoun, Gerrard etc that are roughly as good as Babel as a wide midfielder. But for that 2nd striker position he's clearly better than any other of his competition imo. ==> Play him as a forward

Apparently it's not all over yet. According to unconfirmed sources Havant and Swansea are considering a merger between the two clubs to compensate for their league/cup status. The club will be called Savant FC, a club full of slightly socially challenged geniuses.

I for one want Torres, Gerrard and Reina nowhere near this game. We shouldn't bother playing them against opposition like this. By principle we should always line-up our 2nd keeper for this kind of fixture. Better rest Stevie and Fernando for Monday imo.

bah, if they're good enough footballers they should be able to work it out. Also I would have Babel playing slightly behind Fernando, in that way they would have different roles and not get in each other's way. None of Dirk, Voronin or Crouch have had a spectacular season so far. Don't see the reason why not at least trying the FT-RB partnership.

How so? I feel they are our most talented forwards in the squad. Both quick, both can beat defenders. Babel seems to have a good shot, Torres likes to run behind the back line. Torres scored a lot this season, Babel's also bagged a few especially coming on as a forward (although mostly in games that are basically over). If they can form a good understanding between themselves i cannot see how it could fail. It's super, it's marvellous etc etc

I've been calling for the Torres/Babel combo up front for some time now. Just don't think Rafa fancies it, we've had plenty of opportunities to try it out but it hasn't happened so I don't it will. At least not for a while. Would love to see it though.

Did Rafa describe Carra as a quick player? Anyways Luton is surely a good opportunity to bring Mrtn Skrtl into into the team, no?
