Both the Collymore and mirror articles are just too bizarre to comment really. Don't know how to reply properly even. Re Rafa's goal celebrations it is just how he does it, and he's done it ever since he came to the club and possibly before that. It is a leadership style, which I honestly admire. For every goal scored we have 4000-40000 fans, players on the field, players on the bench, coaches and other staff on the bench jumping up and screaming. There is no need for the manager to do it also. In fact what you need in a situation like that is to have a leader who does not lose his footing, carefully analyzes the situation and firmly sends out his orders. It is important that players do not lose their focus and the manager could help a lot in that moment. It is really the best a manager can do in that situation. Not that I think a manager cheering a bit for a goal would be very detrimental to the side's performance, but still. Rafa is not a heartless guy, nor does he lack dedication towards the club. Media is just looking for things to comment on.
