  14. See I'm not a local but my local branch is the Swedish/Scandinavian one. I'm asking because it seems strange for people who seldom go to games, like myself, needing to get a fancard. OS says this "General sales begin 18 days before a Home Premier League fixture and are available through the credit card hotline, postal application and for Fancard holders an online sale. These dates are subject to change." I take that as fancard buyers and other ticket buyers are two separate groups. Therefore fancards are not compulsory. Should I get a fancard just to make it easier to get a ticket or to make the the purchasing process smoother? It not a huge expense anyways... EDIT: Thanks Tim, didn't see your reply before posting.
  15. * helmet optional
  16. Have to ask just in case I got things horribly wrong. I will hopefully make the trip to Anfield soon... Not everyone that buys a match ticket needs a fan card right? It's only for those that want their present accounted for when applying for big game tickets, no? You guys (NYR & Magneto) need a fan card because it's a special arrangement with the club and supporters club? BTW this reminded me to check with my local branch to see if they have an arrangement, thanks!
  17. Hmmm... slightly tricky this. Granted we want to rest as many players as possible this is still a very important game. Yes we are the better side but if a major cockup occurs early on we should rather not be without some of our key players, including Alonso. Especially now when we have Carra and Stevie out. I'd say play it safe with the starting XI, hopefully we will steamroll them and use our subs later on. Pepe Finnan-Sami (he is fit right?)-Agger-Arbeloa Pennant-Alonso-Momo/Masch-Babel Kuyt-Crouchie I had to mention it anyway. For the less gifted ones on this forum
  18. sorry, thought you asked
  19. 25 players. As Kewell was injured I guess there was no point in selecting him into the qualifying squad. A new one will be selected to the group phase remember.
  20. Only just recently signed for Inter no?
  21. Not quite work safe was it?!! Still, not bad at. But pretty thin on the bone even for a model me thinks
  22. Re-sign Paletta
  23. Sad how many pro footballers have been struck by heart failure during the last few years. In the aftermath of Foe's death in 2003 some medical reports suggested the physical overload of football players combined with vast amounts of various nutrition supplements could lead to more incidents like that. I also fear that in some cases illegal substances could be behind it all. Not accusing anyone in particular though. Very rare that heart failure just happens to an otherwise healthy athlete. Heart abnormalities are normally discovered fairly early in a person's life. Pro athletes are subjected to so many health checks it's hard to believe anything like that comes through unnoticed. Anyways, hope for a quick recovery for Antonio. YNWA
  24. I'd take maniac Spanish commentary any day over those t***s at sky sports or Swedish canal+
  25. I can only see two Blackburn players on that list. Is he still playing? I miss his red face. Not 100% sure about this but from what I know of Alvaros' Spanish career he is well experienced as a centre back.
