And I am drinking vintage red*.... there is nothing vintage about them. *Ok that may not be 100% accurate but it's OK for a Tuesday night!!!

Don't encourage me, I've been on the wine and may carry on trying to be funny.

I couldnt agree more, I think there has only ever been one player I got depressed about seeing play...Bruno Cheryou. I went to most home games for 15 years and never gave anything but my full support for every player who played for us, all I wanted was us to win. Yes I got frustarted with them but I always believed they were giving their all and needed support not abuse. I have found (Obvioulsy I don't go anymore) since the Internet and forums (!) fans moan more and more. I used to sit in the Main Stand and it was OK, not much (oK, none)singing went on but where I was nearly everyone had been going for years and were passionate about the reds. It's the Paddock I used to find was a bad area for 'new' fans.

Maybe that want to share a shop with us

If people dont sing doesn't make them bad fans....but not singing and having no idea about the game does!

I didn't really think of who I wanted, as I was on a train the train the Christmas before and had a long chat with Mark Bright, he told me that O'Neill was definitely coming at the end of the season (he wanted to go to either us or Man UTD, and when Fergie said he was staying on he only had eyes for us), so from then on I thought that he was ours - I have learned never to trust the BBC football experts As for GH not getting us close, in 2002 we did come close to number 19, we only came second to a very very good Arsenal, a lot of people forget that. Its just it all went downhill from then on. IN fact I think it all really started to go wrong in Germany v Leverkusen, Dudek (forgetting Istanbul!!!) and a few others were never quite the same after that.

coiffure - the arrangement of the hair Counts Kenyon out!

How many years was Bruce with us (9?), he is way ahead of Kenny, who didn't miss a game for his first 4 years with us, and then played for another 5 after that.

I am shocked that I have seen most (8) of those play live. I am feeling old now.......

1 Ian Callaghan 640 2 Billy Liddell 492 3 Emlyn Hughes 474 4 Ray Clemence 470 5 Ian Rush 469 6 Tommy Smith 467 7 Phil Neal 455 8 Bruce Grobbelaar 440 9 Alan Hansen 434 10 Elisha Scott 430 Courtesy of the history site. So if wrong dont balme me!!!

when he talks so well. You never get such good interviews from other Chief Execs like Kenyon. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...060825-0805.htm Spoken as a fan.

The BBC gossip page says the S*N has us in for Woodgate, is that what started this topic?

Maybe we are, to keep HK company, they can talk about the old times at Leeds.

How about the worst ones too.. I have many, but the result shouldn't be the reason it was bad.

I was reading another story from Anny this morning about a brawl in a bar and lost the thread...where has it gone?

LInk http://www.abc.net.au/sport/content/200608/s1721503.htm

The bit about the broom cupboard made me feel it was true

I fear this could be along thread with no 'proper' answer

Can someone explain what this means? "Aurelio has the type of left foot you could open a can of beans with" Thanks!!!!

Definitely a scoop for Foxtel whatever he does, I am sure he will be the Sheilaroos commentator when their games move to Fox next season.

He is the owner of MBNA. It won't make much difference but every time we use our MBNA club credit card we help our acadmeny but also help (indirectly) make Villa richer.

True, Foxtel don't have the commentators for Premier league games they use the global lot (who are usually quite good), Simon could do the A-League I guess? But he deserves better :-)

SO you like ESPN - I think it was what you were saying? For all Ausses reading that didnt know, Simon Hill has left SBS to join Foxtel - that has to be good for us fans. He is a good commentator/reporter.

couldnt agree more. and tommy i think is biased to us if anything!!!

Too much time on your hands????
