I think its something to do with being 'crowned' a real Madrid player gets them all high on their own farts. There should be an obvious way to negotiate friends away from extreme toxic opinions. Problem is that they feel like they are being criticised or diminished if you challenge them. Its a weird part of being human. If simply reasonable discussion was effective and the validity of an argument was paramount then all problems would be solved. Unfortunately opinions are rooted in a semse of self, and like chimps, our ego reacts to a challenge to the sense of identity.
