We aren't winning this, are we ? We might though.

Ever ?

He could drop Konate now, like weeks and weeks after he should have but the credibility has gone. The damage is too deep that that one change is fixing it. There should have been little tweaks and rotation week to week. Sure, try something new now but to say that helps keep the managers credibility ? Well it's too late. Everyone knows that.

Think he plays to the level of the team he's in. When we were good he made some decent contributions. Not sure we've seen him demand the ball and almost force the team to win. We saw that with Diaz at times (don't ask me to remember the games where this happened) and obviously Salah did it a lot until this latest doom spiral. It's mad how we went into this season thinking we had the best group of forwards including Wirtz, in the league if not in Europe. Not one of them has been worth a carrot.

The thought had crossed my mind.

All the best, and thanks for last season. Gets to enjoy a decent payoff, a league winners medal and he'll pick up a job in another league. Nothing for anyone to get upset about. Just hope the club do the right thing and don't delay this.

Or wearing a pork pie hat and sucking a lollipop.

It's gone on so long that it would be weird if he suddenly changed. These are his methods, his tactics, his style of management now.

The bet is next manager, not when it is. In that case the people running to the bookmakers with fifty pence would be saying the club doesn't make a permanent appointment until then. What happens if there's an interim manager, does the bet usually keep going ?

I hear you. You want to have woke emotional breakdowns. The good news is that I enjoy them too! My interpretation of this is tactical, mixed with rapid changes to the lineup, and compounded by the management style of Slot.

Jota is a massive thing for these players to deal with, and they will deal with it. One way or another their career has to go on. They will surely get help behind the scenes, but all of that said it's not the reason we are seeing the type of football in the video above. That's not players out of form, that's the team tactics. That's what the coaches have instructed them to do.

See, I have little doubt we qualify in that CL format. We will continue to lose league games though, and have no clear plan for winning and that's why I think he should go now.

I mean in attitude and legs. It's about earning the right to play football. Of course Mane had other attributes, you are right there. AF tried to go more technical in midfield with Veron. In the end we will need a new manager to sort this out and decide how it goes. There will need to be big names leaving though, and maybe the new manager insists on less influence from Hughes and Edwards. There does seem to be some massive disconnect in recruitment and then how the manager wants them to play. It's like everyone at the club has clocked it and gone 'ah s***, this won't work'

I miss players like Mane, Henderson, Milner. Absolute workhorses, talented grafters. That was our way. Why didn't we keep doing that?

Not sure I believe he really thought this or said it, but the arrogance of 'won too many games by a single goal' would be mind blowing. He's disappointing, the Dutch fella.

Can have all the money in the world but if there isn't a clear strategy and an identity then it's pissing in the wind. What are we trying to do with our summer signings?

Just checking the forum to see the score. WTAF. What's been the story of this game ?

Isak getting in form has to happen so he's gonna play if fit. Soz to Ekitike but he will get plenty of games too.

That seems very optimistic that Rio would be suddenly one of the best wingers in the league like Diaz had been. I can understand some of us divs saying that on here in the summer but in the cold light of day what were the club employees thinking ?

Finally deigns to pick Gomez then if that's true. Not before time. With our troubles at fullback and with Konate you'd have expected him to get games before now. Really hope Isak is properly fit and gives everyone around him a lift.

Yes too much. He was good value when spurs got him, and we had been linked, but now he'd cost too much wouldn't he ? I mean too much for his injury record.

They also had Hello.

Is FYDS dead ?

Lampard currently doing well at Coventry. It's quite likely he has a decent career as a manager. Not sure about Gerrard. Not saying get Lampard in as manager BTW! Christ, can you imagine. Conte is still only 56. Lots to admire, despite the Chelsea stint.
