I’m not selling him yet. But I want six forwards next season. Five was not enough obviously, and especially when Diogo is one of them. I thought it was but it’s not. We have to have at least 2 x 11 players. OR If we do want to keep a slimmer squad then ffs don’t go all in on all four comps. I do like those players but Hass, that’s 200-250 mil on those two alone. No way we do that and buy a CB, DM and maybe a fullback. And still I’d argue we would need a midfielder on top of that.

You need grafters for the 433. It was never sexy to have a midfield with Fab, Hendo and Milner but my god no one could stop them. Now we have more sexy passers but everyone runs through them. Need some balance.

There’s no need. I think Edwards was going to chop him anyway. If Edwards truly is in charge of everything you best believe he’s not going to hang on to a 350k/w striker entering his final years if there’s a big Saudi/PSG offer on the table.

Honestly I don’t know. He’s ace in Football Manager but so is Marcus Rashford so who knows really.

No team anywhere in any time could do more with these refs. This season has been extreme. We really had no chance. As a victim of racism I kinda get the same feeling in my stomach here. When people were racist towards me at work it sucked. I complained. It messed with my performance but no one did anything about and they basically didn’t care. This feeling is comparable. They f***ed us and no one cares. People talk about this player and that player and we blew it and so on. Nah. Refs f***ed us. Coordinated and relentlessly. That’s it. Can’t ask anyone to deal with this level of adversity and not be flustered. There’s no way. That Doku pen. Dear me. Now where’s the any key? WHERE IS IT?

I don’t know it does make sense that people lost steam from playing too often. By the time cavalry arrived the rest were knackered. And then we had the entire refs association on our backs. Gotta hurt morale. I think that Doku pen had changed everything.

He’s young. He has time. I’m not worried. I am incredibly proud of the lads. There’s just no way we could keep it together with those refs. That’s my take from this season. We were brave and valiant but the constant bulls*** from refs has taken the light out of their hearts. And I don’t blame them. I’ve literally gone bald from watching us this season. Call it a lame excuse if you want but these refs have been relentless. Absolutely incredible.

What a shame. God refs have f***ed us so hard this year. Seems to be at an extreme high point now. It’s like every ref are just piling on now because no one is going to do anything about it.
