  8. No? They've been constantly linked with him but he never actually signed for them. Unless I've missed something?
  9. Is the quagrilella deal deffo dead? Cause anytime I've seen him he's been the balls. Love him here.
  10. Hey F**k em
  11. Can't a agree with that. Gerry Armstrong touched on it last night. Very easily wound up and aside from being a liability in being a borderline sending off most games, sometimes he's so concerned with clattering someone he switches off his positional sense. In a centre half that is criminal.
  12. Mourinho is f**king don revie reincarnate. F**k all tactical nous tonight, just kick the living f**k out of the opposition and get the ball to Ronaldo on the break. Ref was a soft c**t and all. afraid of getting a mouthful from the special one. I hope all those people who were screaming for him to be appointed LFC manager had a wake up call tonight. Just look at what he's done to our beautiful xabi!!! I'm so angry that someone like pepe is allowed on the same pitch as xavi. He's not a footballer at all.
  13. Pepe is exactly what I hate about football.

  16. This is true but I'm assuming the granting of the 2007 application effectively puts paid to the 2003. After all the Planners do need to know diffinitively what building is being built. I know your saying technically the enabling works has preserved these conditions but a planning commity could very easily rule that they had no intenton of building on there & rightly so. In either of our opinions though the planners will need to be reconsulted and more than likely it will need resubmitting. Which in turn gives us oppertunity to make alterations as long as footprint / vistas & capacity aren't altered. The 2003 model could easily be used as a skeleton with some decent cladding works done. EDIT: the last bit is covered in your last post.
  17. Any planning that Hicks and Gillett got would only last 3 years. There was massive panic on their side near the end to try and get a sponsor if you remember as their planning conditionswere running out. According to planning portal the h&g planning was granted on 27/06/07 so they are way and beyond their 3 year time period, as for the original AFL design, that was a completely different planning grant so theiur 5 year period is dead. Any new stadium will require a new planning process. Which is a oppertunity for a new design which I'm sure our owners will be doing with a number of architects. I like that above design, with the right colour scheme that could be really good.
  18. The telegraph article there describes Adidas as "the American firm" Well researched that reporter.
  19. I'm not against the Defoe transfer if there is one but liking Suarez and him is lunacy of the highest standard
  20. Exactly. This design is quite common for around the time, stadium of light, kc stadium etc.
  21. Going on the most reliable source we know which is Wayne. He mentioned herzog and de meuron. Go to their website and look at their stadia even look at the tate modern refurb they did. I also know they're models they do are second to none, they have some of the best BIM software (if youve heard of CAD well BIM is the future rendering technicians like me useless unless I learn it) engineers in the world. I'm not being funny but The kid in our office could do something like that given a little time. This is one of the premier architects in the world we are talking about here. I've no doubt the chap has been told something, I don't think he's a "look at me" type at all and is usually reliable. Just think he's been given bum info here.
  22. Shot himself in the foot here. Parry bowl doesn't have planning permission. It did when it was originally submitted but planning permission only lasts 3 years. Unless he means we've resubmitted which means we would have heard all about it by now. Also there is no way any planning authority would say they aren't accepting any more designs.
  23. I can tell you right now if herzog and de meuron are indeed involved as Wayne said a while ago then that piece of generic s***e won't be even remotely looked at. They do amazing stuff. That design was a value engineering exercise. Something hks and wates are famous for. Loads of those grounds were built around that time, like the stadium of light. The revit model that is drawn up on isn't even finished. Also the planning conditions ran out for that years ago. no planning officer would have a leg to stand on to say "well you must build this" they can be a pain in the hole but won't be able to dictate what we build.
