Frankfurt and Leipzig are talking about 100 million euros for Etikite and Sesko respectively, and Sporting about 80 million for Gyokeres. Isak is the one out and out striker that stands out, but I don't see him moving this summer.

There is no way Edwards is sanctioning 100 million euros for Ekitike. History shows that Liverpool under Edwards only pay such fees for transformative signings (Virgil, Alisson and now Wirtz), and Ekitike is no way near that level. With Chelsea reportedly keen, it will be impossible to get the price down to more realistic levels.

I expect Nunez to leave early in the window. Kelleher, Tsimikas and Chiesa will probably drag on. Diaz, Elliott and Doak depending on the attractiveness of the offers received.

Hughes less proven, jury still out at a club the size and standing of Liverpool. Obviously done a very good job at Bournemouth, and deserves his chance at a bigger club. Edwards, on the other hand, is very, very good at what he does. I am very optimistic going forward with him in charge.

I doubt we'll be signing a midfielder this summer, but if we will, I wonder if Slot's preference is more a controller (Zubimendi, Stiller, Wharton) or more a destroyer (Baleba). I'm fine with that. They can continue winning the transfer windows, we'll continue winning trophies.
