  1. You wish. NESV probably don't have a pot to piss in either mate. Hence the 'long term' smoke screen
  2. This is one of the most tragic things I have ever read on here - because it's 100% true. I feel sad
  3. The opposite to apathy. You should try it some time.
  4. Good call Growler. Lets tweet them en masse also. NESV said they would listen but so did G&H NESV promised success but so did G&H Personally, I see little difference between both sets of owners at the minute. People will obviously pull me u on this as I'm bursting a few bubbles but what have NESV done exactly? It could easily be argued that the removed debt (fair play) but have left themselves with nothing to work with without dipping into Red Sox coffers which will cause a storm. NESV need to put up or shut up. If this manager is allowed to remain, this season will be such a f*** up that we will most likely regress in the following ways: 1. Good players will want to leave 2. Good players will not want to join. 3. Confidence will be smashed 4. The mid table mentality or top four being an achievement will be institutionalised. This is dire and we as fans need to start voting with our pound until things are the way they should be. It's the only thing business type owners will understand.
  5. At least Souness was 'Liverpool'. Hodgson is worse than a joke. He's a living nightmare.
  6. This man is embarrassment. It's not just his poor results or crazy attitude/comments - he's just not 'Liverpool'. Say what you want about Souness but at least he was Liverpool.
  7. Any streams guys? 4-3 will do lovely but 4-0 would be nicer. Lets do this
  8. Why? The Johnson rumours only began as an hypothethis after we were linked to Fanni (and is there even a genuine link?) If Johnson is going anywhere after new arrivals, it's right midfield.
  9. Perfectly said!!!

  12. Good post. Although maybe the Hodgson situation will get NESV off with not buying in January. remember, bar the tidbits in the news, we DO NOT know these guys yet. They have ZERO track record in terms of LFC so far. Beware false prophets. Once bitten and all that jazz.
  13. It's a bit of a leading question but it can be forgiven I suppose, given the circumstances. The mist worrying thing for me is the attitude if the new owners. On one hand they say they are listening intently (regarding the ground share) while on the other hand, they are completely ignoring the fans in relation to the manager. Add to this the 'unlikely to spend in January' remarks and it's reminiscent if the initial lip service if the previous administration. We clearly need to strengthen quickly so if they can't afford to, they shouldn't have bought the club. We clearly need a new manager also so get it sorted and prove that this isn't just another 'investment'

  18. So we are getting into manager bashing without first questioning the following: The Star say that TWO sets of potential new owners want to appoint MON yet The Star hadnt mentioned knowing anything about at least two new owners prior to this. Having info on multiple sets of new owners would have been quite a scoop so why didnt they run with it? This is a nonsense debate.
  19. We're about 45-50 million up in the past few seasons. It's all in the 'untouchable' transfer account so fear not. We're saving up for the Maradonna/Torres lovechild.
  20. Any one of Crouch, Santa Cruz or even Bellamy would have been better (and 2 out of 3 cheaper) than Carlton Cole. Dont think we'll sign anyone else though.
  21. Family my a***. Footballers, and their wives, need to realise that you have to trade off some things to get to be a hero, do what you love doing and retire a multi-millionaire in your mid 30s.
  22. Then surely Rafa will be before him in the queue.
  23. I remember the same being said of Gillett.
  24. Plus the cost of 'free' transfers.
