Now, when it comes to pi55ing huge sums of money against the wall on transfers and contracts, the premiership are frankly amateurs compared to US sports. So even if we think that 20m cash plus wages is huge for Torres, this still pales into insignificance when compared to the US sports T&G are used to. Which is why, I'm pretty sure there is still plenty more to come this summer. Certainly not na open cheque book job policy but the fees and wages quoted for all sorts of targets won't scare them in the slightest.
