I finished speaking to my journo mate a few minutes ago. He's a sports writer with a "quality" national. I use the term quality loosely but at least it distinguishes from the gutter tripe. He had a few interesting comments and a bit of a bombshell too. Firstly, information and sources within Anfield are fewer than ever; most of the time they are feeding on very little that is credible these days. As a result, journos do not want to jeopardise these few sources by penning utter nonsense just to fill column inches. He says its likely sources just clam up when you do this and as there are so feew nowadays, there's not many to turn to. As a result, he says that most of what we have read in the last few months is either on the money or based on strong belief from good sources. ie very little crap. He says nowadays many of them prefer to wait until a credible proven "lead" journo (he mentioned Bascombe here) uncover something and then many jump on that with there own little twists. He says with info more scarce they would rather do this than print pure rubbish and jeopardise good sources. He says there appears no credible info that DIC are buying out G&H. Now his bobmshell. He says that there is a massive story brewing and no-one wil run with it as yet until not so much that the club has given the ok to, but a strong source gives the nod that its pretty much nailed on. He says it is that Rafa will be leaving in the summer and yes, you guessed it, Mourinho didnt take the England job because we apporached him. So there you go, make of it what you will. I'd rather not take a pasting for this, I assumed some would be interested in hearing. He's a good bloke and has no reason to make up porkies for my benefit.

Ive gone onto livefooty, installed sopcast, refreshed and livefooty is still telling me sopcast isnt installed yet it is and will play the channels. What am i doing wrong, or is the game on one of the sopcast sports channels? Trying to do this for the first time so any help really appreciated. Thanks

I just dont get this played poorly, nervous edgey s****. We were playing a VERY good side, fact. At 1-0 down they knew that if the other game was a draw then they could go out in the final match, fact. So what do you expect a quality team to do? Bend over and take it up the wrong 'un? No, they came at us hard and played well. Midway through the second half we regained control and put them away efficiently in the end. Thats what happens when you play good sides. You cant expect to dominate for 90 mins, win twelvety nil and create chance after chance after chance without them having a go.
