Presume they've not seen him since it all happened. Chelsea players donated their winnings to his family as well. All adds up. Hopefully they have a reset over the next couple of weeks.

Honestly, people need to read this and just take a breath. Missed the game tonight but sounds bad. Everyone involved seems to be struggling. There is obviously stuff that the team and manager should be doing better but there is a sh*t load of intangible mitigating circumstances that everyone on here pretty much said they would give them a pass for back in the summer when the tragedy happened. If ever a set of players and coaching staff needed patience it's our lads this season. Mancs next and Anfield needs to be rocking and they all deserve and need our full backing.

Not surprised at all. There seems to be a collective malaise at the moment with one major factor that connects them all. Believe Shearer mentioned it last night which is good. I was thinking last night that this was a situation made for Jota to come and sort it and stick it to their crowd. Everyone must really miss him.

Without wanting to be too reactionary we haven't played consistently well since we won the league against Spurs. Lots of reasons but the same mistakes have become habitual now.

We need to go back to last season's stuff as much as possible for this. Wirtz & Frimpong on the bench. Not bothered about LB - either is fine. Bradley at RB. Last season's starting midfield 3 with Gakpo (assuming Chiesa not fit) and Salah wide and either Ekitike or Isak up front. Dog it out if we have to but we need to fkin win.

Mac has looked as bad as Konate lately.
