Doesn't seem like it. Don't think we bid for a player unless we are serious. Underwhelming. I'd feel better if Barcola was done. The talk was always two wingers and Gakpo out. Looks like Spurs have moved on from him.

Just going off posters on North Stand Chat forum, chief. Positives: pace Negatives: decision making & touch. They think it will happen though and one lad has a source who suggests Minteh is a Big Red! Stay tuned.

If he didn't have a bad injury then I would. It's crazy. Brighton are pretty good at getting big fees for players as well so trying to get him out with a week to go is mad. I could understand going down a similar road with Isak last summer (although that didn't work out) but for this lad? Nah.

Given yourselves a break and read through the first few pages of this thread from 2017. Basically we are all a bunch of know nothing chancers. Keita being a cross between Davids, Gazza and Iniesta was a highlight!

Feels like they broke their MO last summer by spending big after a league title. Watched it all fall apart at the hands of Edwards and Hughes and thought fck this we're done. Let someone else sort it out.

Agree. Ultimately it needs to be more fun than not and to have something to get behind. Obvs I'd rather win everythng but paradoxically challenging on all fronts is not always fun either. The 21/22 season was not really fun. Yes there were moments but it was absolutely draining by the end.

We aren't signing a right winger who is going to replicate Salah's output. There is nobody in world football who could do that. Isak and Wirtz were bought last summer as part of succession planning and now Barcola to hopefully make up the numbers.

Think it will be a bumpy road until November at least. Then hopefully they are up to speed; tactically and fitness wise. Seems like the club are laying it all on Iraola to work miracles.
