Loads to be excited about in here.

Liverpool's top target. PSG don't see him as one of their untouchables. Gakpo is evidently good enough to be part of a title winning front line. Don't want him starting week in week out but will be really fckin stupid to sell him to a rival.
-
I think we'll get Minteh and Barcola. We'll end up paying over the odds for an injured Minteh. If they sell Gakpo as well they can fck off.

What happened to yesterday's crucial meeting that Ornstein reported?
-
Hmm. One that short lived suggests we were never serious but were trying to be dead clever and let PSG and Brighton know that we REALLY won't be fleeced on price for their prized assets. D*ckheads.
-
For their best player with a week to go? Yes.

Sarr is clearly a really good player. I'm not arsed about his age. Problem once again is the timing. We've boxed ourselves into a corner and are trying to low ball notoriously difficult clubs to deal with. No fcker is going to sell us one of their best players for a reasonable price now. We are absolutely desperate.

Savinho is a diddle and nobody should be using it as a benchmark.
-
That's the first full 90 he's done for us.

Everywhere is thin other than CB to an extent. They don't care.

Imagine that is what is going to happen. Barcola and that's it.

Six windows and all the signings Hughes has made are either release clauses, club record fees, from his old employer or some other club has done the bidding/negotiations.

Ornstein: Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are holding key talks in a bid to bring clarity over a proposed transfer for Bradley Barcola. The discussions are seen as an important step to establish a direction of travel on a potential move for the 23-year-old, who is committed to joining the Merseyside club. Earlier this summer Barcola emerged as Liverpool’s top target to replace Mohamed Salah, who left the club at the end of the 2025-26 season. The Athletic reported on July 29 that the Premier League side were preparing an opening bid for the France international, as they looked to formalise their interest in him. Barcola, who has two years remaining on his current deal, had made it clear he does not want to sign a new deal with the European champions. PSG had indicated that they value Barcola at around £145million but Liverpool want to do a deal at closer to £100m, given the player’s contract situation and desire for a new challenge on Merseyside. Barcola made 49 appearances for the French side last season, contributing 13 goals and seven assists, playing an important role as they retained the Ligue 1 title and Champions League. Playing predominantly from the left wing but also able to operate on the opposite flank, Barcola was in direct competition with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue for minutes and his game-time in the latter stages of PSG’s Champions League run came from the bench. Barcola is a product of Lyon’s academy, and broke into the first team in the 2021-22 season. He recorded seven goals and 12 assists in 47 appearances before joining PSG in August 2023. He has gone on to make 152 appearances for the Paris club, scoring 39 times and providing 37 assists. He was named in Didier Deschamps’ 26-man squad for this summer’s World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, featuring in all eight France fixtures and scoring three times. Edit: Apologies for making you read that when the fkin tweet from a couple of hours ago is all there is to it.

Imagine not getting this done.

Think he's just their Sky reporter over there. Had a bug public spat with Romano this summer as well didn't he? The big berk.
-
Bit of a chancer this lad, isn't he?
-
I know there's an 18 month age gap between them but Josh King, for example, looks levels above Rio.
-
Asking AI for a list of footballers and using it to moan about our inactivity is a new low.
-
Selling Wirtz anytime soon is an absolute non starter and rightly so. Nobody advocated it over the summer and we're only one game in. Just madness.
-
He really had to stop himself from shouting "needless to say........"
-
There's defo been a disproportionate pile on since Sunday. The Mancs lost to Hull ffs (we actually got a point) and nobody is talking about them. Spurs were an abomination.
-
Kin ell Sanchez is so fkin bad.
-
That he thought he'd be saying this after six games but he's saying it now. Szoboszlai should be 10 and Wirtz isn't an Iraola type of winger so basically he should be fcked off. Last window will go down as the worst by any club in Premier league history. There were some valid points in amongst it and but he's gone big on hyperbole and it's out there now. He very much seems to be enjoying telling us all I told you so.

Carra has basically just read his obituary on MNF there.
