Nothing bewildering about them. Gakpo went down too easy and wasn't smart. Second one was a pen by the letter of the law. They were both marginal decisions that went against us but not outrageous. These only become a thing when you're shyte and losing matches.

That's not why we lost last night.

Who knows, but we'd be miles better at the back with someone who can beat a press with much better passing. The jitters this season started at the back and have permeated their way through the whole team.

I know there are multiple issues but I wonder whether the Guehi fck up could have been a sliding doors moment for this team.

I get that to an extent but people are calling it based on what they are seeing in front of their eyes. It's not like we're being unlucky and just not getting the rub of the green here. We are getting worse by each passing week and there is no coherent plan that gets the best out of any of our players. He needs to rip it up and start again which in itself tells you that he's drowning.

The first 10-15 mins of the second half was as bad as anything I can remember from the last 10 years. We should have come out flying and we couldn't get out of our half. Why is our press so completelt useless and teams like Brentford can pin us back and laugh at our players who can't control a pass?

Doesn't mean we keep flogging a dead horse in the meantime. Ship him off to anyone who will take him in January and sign a replacement.

The problem is that we are getting worse. There were moments/glimpses/second half performances in all the others where you thought they had sorted themselves out a bit. Yesterday was an abomination from start to finish all over the pitch. Picked the wrong team again. Sent them out with the wrong tactics again and made the wrong subs again.

He looks completely clueless. Players look half arsed, confused and weak.
