They are pretty much all right footed (apart from Minteh) but yes.

Maybe these 2nd and 3rd options that nobody knows anything about but seem uninspiring might turn out to be brilliant.

Changing a formation is much more of a stop gap solution than getting a 2nd or 3rd choice winger. It's up to the recruitment team to get the players for Iraola.

He is and is the type of mid tier signing (£65m) that we should be looking at to compliment the likes of Diomande etc.

I hope so. There's been lots of talk about Munoz being able to play through the middle and Wirtz being considered an option as a false 9 though.

Anderson for that money is bonkers. The market has shifted where north of £100m doesn't get you a world class player. Everything will be pegged to his value this summer now so we will need to pay big money for all of our signings I expect.

We should have bought him after the Community Shield. We were offering £35M and they wanted £50M. He is worth miles more than that despite the contract situation. We thought we'd push it to the brink and we lost. It was a massive fck up which we paid for pretty much all season.

I've not said they should have rolled over and accepted our first offer. I said we should have got the deal done before the world cup if we wanted him so much.

Not sure how either of those are comparable. Isak was considered elite not potential and the lesson from Guehi was pay the money and get it done. We should have done this deal before the WC if we rate him so highly. Which it seems we do. I'm not overly keen on the idea of spending so much on him and am hoping we pull a leftfield backup option that hasn't already been mentioned out of the bag. Rayan cost Bournemouth £25m.

El Mala and Pardo are both right footed so maybe they are Gakpo replacements. Minteh looks good and is probably lowest risk but his numbers are underwhelming and Brighton would want big money. It's a pretty uninspiring list tbh.

His ceiling looks high but there is a lot of hype around him and I'm not sure it's completely justified. The backup options mentioned don't sound amazing either. Maybe there's not much out there on the market. Jones looks like he's off so maybe we are only doing one in midfield and keeping Macca.

Diomande looks like he will need loads of time to settle. He's very raw. We need someone ready to go and hit big numbers. If it's Gakpo, Diomande, Munoz, Ngumoah and Isak to start the season as the forward line then I wouldn't be too confident.
