  2. Euro '88 success? Jammy poxy legspinning header was fecking miles offside.
  3. They've been over there for a good few days longer than our lads though, I think. Plus they mightn't have baked beans or real chips over there?
  4. It's great having full confidence in the old defence these days. Pacey wing backs with zippy crosses? Pah. We've got Stevie Finnan on the one side, and on the other? well, we've got Sami and Carra to knock them away all day.
  5. If he was lashing back the Bacardi & Cokes for the last while they could have sacked him, surely?
  6. Dare I dream now?
  7. Good to hear that they (S.P.) were scheidt but was that the full team or are they lulling us the winners of our tie into a false sense of security?
  8. Anti-Celtic London bias?
  9. What's with the bizarre blaxploitation lingo in that line, ?big, menacing brother?? Sticks out like a big black thumbnail.
  10. He is entitled of course. Just as we're entitled to point out that he said he'd play for Celtic after United and then call it a day. Seeing Keane going to join the galacticos after the way he's gone on over the years wouldn't do much for my opinion of the man, though.
  11. Dick.
  12. I believe he's perfectly well entitled to remind everyone of Keane's declaration that he would finish his career at Celtic, on foot of his feet-shuffling. And Keano, as King Kenny knows, is an honourable man?
  13. edit: blindness.

  21. Fair play to him. ??his colleagues would, I'm guessing, also rather not be named in this column. There's Alan Wilkes, ??
  22. The Dublin company was founded in the 1910s and had a black swastika on a plain background on its chimney and livery. There's a load of other instances (including a division of the US Air Force up to the late '20s) of innocent usages around Europe before its being hijacked. That picture is actually from a mock-up for a reconstruction, it's the only one I could find, and as Benzo-13 says, it's not the original livery ? it's Nazified (white circle on red) as you say, and probably for dramatic effect. But the maddest thing isn't the pre-war use of the swastika ? name and symbol ? it's that it was on their stuff for years, until the EIGHTIES, and it's quite well known.
  23. Are you insinuating that the one reason and the one reason only he's still a Premiership referee is because he's blind?
