He's the sort of player who, if we'd gone for, there'd have been a meltdown about us going for potential over established/proven names. Don't think Mane's cr*p as such but when you've been expecting Muller and Pedro, it's quite a come-down.

Benteke - hardly put a foot wrong, good movement, touch, link up and goal Coutinho - always our creative force, some wonderful moments. Joy to watch Clyne - consistently solid at the back, consistently got forward well, did nothing wrong

I wasn't saying we should pay off his contract, I was just saying if the club chose to do so, it actually wouldn't cost that much. If Rodgers thinks his presence is detrimental and a bad influence, then I'd rather he wasn't around.
