  1. But apart from him being injured and the fact we've just bought 'the most expensive defender in the world ever', why isn't he playing?
  2. Really really want Conte to stay as long as possible. His fate is fairly clear, but it's probably better they now get a draw or two to encourage them to hang on to him a bit longer. I wish we were due to play them now, especially in a two-leg European tie.
  3. It's the way the decisions were reached that really p*sses me off. There is no logic at all in the way the first decision one particularly was reached - Moss' thought process was clear, "ok lino, I understand that you're telling me that if Lovren touched the ball it's a pen, and if he didn't then it isn't. Hmmm, I have no idea if he touched it or not. I'll ask my mate Martin if he saw anything on the tv (which he's not permitted to do), then I won't wait for him to answer. I'm just going to give a penalty." The thought process of an incompetent.
  4. We can go for the "Most points won from a losing position" trophy
  5. That's easy. Let's stop taking the lead.
  6. This content is not viewable to guests.
  7. Salah needs to improve his finishing, it's forum lore.
  8. Absolutely. Alli deliberately played the ball towards Kane who was in an offside position. Whether Lovren made connection or not should be irrelevant to that flag going up. The suggestion that if Lovren had made a complete air-kick, then the penalty would have been chalked off due to offside ... well that's too ridiculous for any kind of serious discussion.
  9. Of course he was offside. He was interfering with play.
  10. Except he isn't correct. Kane was offside.
  11. Let it go. It was a joke.
  12. Nice back-tracking, I like that. It's good to be in agreement, don't you think?
  13. No he doesn't say that at all. What he said was ... "You know what I'm asking. I need to clarify has Lovren touched the ball? If he has, it's a deliberate action and therefore it's a penalty. If he has not, it is offside."
  14. Yes it was. It was complete and utter tripe. He said that if Lovren touched the ball, then the penalty should stand.
  15. Like I said it was just a monumental fck up. But amazing how the experts/pundits, including that bald manc c*** Gallagher, didn't know that what the lino was saying was pure rubbish. These are professional officials. Moss and the lino need suspnding immediately pending investigation. At best it's sheer inmcompetence/negligence. At worst, there's something far more sinister at work.
  16. No, yesterday was a fck up, plain and simple.
  17. Lloris has made a fair few howlers this season.
  18. Whilst I agree that our midfield could be better, we did score 4 goals against City, the best side in the League. Salah is on fire, but I wouldn't want us to get to the point where we (fans) start thinking we are a one man team.
  19. Yes. Just for clarity, your point was that would be the best we could hope for. Which is pretty ridiculous really, in my opinion.
  20. A draw was no disaster yesterday. We are in a very good position in the League, with the North London Derby next weekend, us still to play United and Chelsea (which I'd strongly fancy us not to lose either), City still to play/beat Chelsea, Spurs, United & Arsenal, and Spurs also have to play Chelsea again. We are in a great position for Champions League qualification - let's enjoy it, eh?
  21. If our Keeper had let two in like Lloris did yesterday, there'd be murders. He's massively over-rated by some.
  22. That's just small-minded rubbish. There's plenty to debate, but comments like this are just a bit embarrassing.
  23. May be best to sell him now to avoid the speculation?
