  1. Yep, just shows how desperate the two cancers are atm
  2. dkaplanSBJ daniel kaplan BREAKING NEWS ON LFC: Australia's Macquarie Bank has interest in lending to and investing with existing shareholders of team, key source says @Hus882 @dkaplanSBJ refinance the current owners? #lfc @dkaplanSBJ @Hus882 Lend to, put in equity. So the idea would be certainly to take out the RBS debt. Of course the board is not listening to new offers
  3. Exactly, he is trying to prove a point...that H&G are taking the piss, ignoring the ruling and do everything they can to disrupt the process...i am hoping it means they are held in contempt
  4. danroan Dan Roan Grabiner qc wading in to H&G: action "grotesque parody..preposterous, unfair, unjust". They are incorrigible". What a word...need to use it sometime, I know Everton fans are incorrigible!
  5. lol
  6. H&G must be in contempt now - what a great opportunity to bring back public executions!
  7. WIll it never f***ing end
  8. If H&G are held in contempt - Karma
  9. bensmith_times Ben Smith @paul_tomkins NESV are certainly not the only bidder in town. Not by a long shot The Times and Mill Financial sitting in a tree.....
  10. danroan Dan Roan Just received statement from Peyer Lim - he is pulling out of bidding! hicks lacky
  11. I think we have all accepted that he is useless - everyone is just waiting for the ownership thread to settle so they can come back to this and when can we judge one!
  12. The reason being that we are all sceptical, but its hard not to have some faith in NESV who have done very well with there sporting assets, the Red Soxs is a prime example. Currently the speculation that "someone" is behind Mill is exactly that and the only connection I can see is to another Hickesque sporting institution who are badly run. Also due to our hatred of Hicks and the way he has run the club....anything that he is backing automatically gets a negative press. Its very clear he doesnt give a f**k about LFC and its future. He is simply looking out for himself. So what makes the Mill deal so attractive to Hicks? Thats the real question, because if he is still involved then its definitely not attractive to me, that thieving w***** can FRO imo
  13. There were stories linking Parry with NESV recently - advising only
  14. Update from Peston: Update 1156: RBS feels its hands would be tied if £200m were to turn up in its accounts from Mill Financial. At that point, its ability to determine the fate of Liverpool FC would be over. What I cannot ascertain is what Mill would then do with Liverpool. Is it buying to hold or buying to sell? And would there be any continuing relationship with Tom Hicks? As and when I get answers, you will be the second to know.
  15. Exactly, the club havent been sold yet and thats what it comes down to.
  16. Wtf does a purple coloured light that makes you glow have to do with any of this?! Sorry Good post Raould , can you give me some clarity on what Ultra Vires means?
  17. Thats a good point, the times was v close to Huangs camp...Ben Smith has been mentioning Mill for a little while...so either it is Huang (who i am not overly keen on tbh) or its someone from within the same camp (which was maybe being fronted by Huang at the time it went public).
  18. So to clarify, whats in this deal for Hicks that makes it so attractive to him? Any ideas? Or is it that he wants to get one over on the MB & Co? If both deals mean he walks away with a substantial loss then why Mill?
  19. Yes true, its disappointing if true that the MB & Co didnt forsee this...if it werent for the f***ing PL and there f***ing 9 points we would have been put into administration and sold to NESV - thats one thing i am sure of. Not only that but it it wasnt for RFH we wouldnt be in such a sad state on the field that the 9 points actually means something.
  20. This is not just aimed at you DH, but also Hightown Phil...so why in summary are H&G determined to sell to Mill? Mill are not looking to wipe out the losses incurred by H&G...is it because there loss is reduced somewhat?
  21. If the Mill stuff is true, all this BS from H&G was to buy him time to get this in place. The same can be said of the TRO in Texas, a stalling tactic aimed at preventing the sale being confirmed last night.
  22. Yep
  23. I am listening to R5 - currently speculation, comment from RBS that if that was true then Mill would be in the driving seat to take over LFC
  24. robbohuyton Gareth Roberts RT @bbc5live: #5live understands that Mill Financial now own both Tom Hicks and George Gillett's shares in #Liverpool #LFC Wonderful - yesterday I actually thought I may do some work today - ffs I am going to sue the b******s for loss of earnings!
  25. tariqpanja tariq panja #LFC and #RBS to return to High Court at 2 What is going on!!!!!! FFS I know its been asked before but how can Hicks sell his shares to Mill without the BoD approval? My reading of the situation, we are back in court today to stop Hicks from selling his shares without permission of the BoD
