We need some drive from midfield, you know something nots right when your LB is trying to thread a through ball from behind the half way line, with the midfield offering nothing (from what i have seen of 2nd half). Gerrard warming up - lets hope its for Henderson

I think its actually more to do with him not contributing to the team or showing little to warrant a starting place - if he was getting involved and providing a threat of note (even if not scoring) he would not be getting such a hard time. The other issue I have is that we need to change our playing style to accomodate him and that is worsening our already shocking goal scoring record.

I disagree re Carroll & Crouch, Crouch was technically good and had good feet for someone of his size, he was crap in the air (maybe thats what he shares with Carroll - kidding) but I would rather have Crouch over Carrol atm. At least when he wasnt scoring he was contributing to the team and linked up well.

TBH i think its fair to assume that both Comolli and Kenny need to take the blame for the players bought in the summer, they would have both made the decision to go for certain players.

It pains me - we actually had money and we wasted it on them, Adam is a good squad player and Henderson has potential (though was still hugely over priced), Downing and Carroll on the other hand are just average at best, Downing has been of the same level at every club he has ever played for. I cant believe we wasted the better of part £20 million on him. :(

Lets stop hiding behind goal keepers having the games of there lives because that may have been true in a couple of games but its the exception rather than the rule. We were poor today, have been poor in front of goal all season, we are not creating enough clear cut chances and when we do - there falling to the wrong people.

Too many average players, we all had doubts about the likes of Downing, Henderson, Carrol and Adam and they are proving those right time and time again, little or no end product - i am getting tired of this s**** every week. We need to strengthen in January
