Re Villa, was listening to a podcast earlier today (from The Athletic), and one of the journalists was saying that there was a real sense of panic there as the window was shutting, so much that they have apparently committed to paying 80% of Sanchos ridiculous wage, plus loan fee. Backs up your view.

That's what I think, with the way we operate, once we zero in on someone, we're usually happy to wait.

Re Isak vs Haaland, no disputing that the latter is a great goal scorer, but I dont think he's our type of striker. I could be wrong, but I have always associated our forward line with having more flair and moments of individual brilliance. The ability to create something unexpected, for that reason alone, I would go with our new boy. The way he carries the ball, the ability to run the channels and take people on means he suits us more, especially as it seems he is very accomplished at coming in from the right. Really excited to see him play and gel with the team.
