Coined something off topic for me there. I'm also really enjoying footy at the moment and actually looking forward to watching England tonight for the first time since the gerrard tapping up fiasco! And in Henderson and shelvey we gave some very hot prospects.

Shown glimpses of brilliance - Fulham away last year springs to mind when he came on a sub. Also he's a year older and wiser this term.

The think with Raul, and Banayoun before him, was that they had blowing hot and cold down to an art form. One day brilliant, the next completely missing / misfiring. I don;t think we have any players like that left now. This is good.

I think teh new training methids we are using will reduce our injuries overall. Gerrard should benefit. Damn, if Hargreeves can get fit, i'm sure Gerrard can.

Having watched it on Telly, for the blatent pen (ankle tap on Saurez) the refs would have needed replays to get it right. 4th official needs a screen tbh. Seemed to take sky a fair few minutes to get the angle and speed right to see it.

Hopefully that will silence the naysayers on here. Clean sheet & 2 goals. Nice one. was it just me, or did cole actually look quite good when he came on. Lovely delivery for the 2nd. about fitness, does anyone know mush about the new kits we are using for that, and how much it might help us keep the likes of Agger and Aurelio fit?

super cool finish. reminds me of his first goal for us. the strike for the first was seemingly an impossible angle. How does he do that?

He's a crafty little player and i'd rather have him in the squad than not. he's had time to think about premiership football and is of top quality. I think he could be an excellent player for us in Kenny's tactics. Excellent. don't understand why people don't like him. Rather have him than Adam if it's a choice. both would be useful.

Almost definately Xabi Alonso. Price and wages in line with this i would think, and the value for teh youngsters learning off him & the rhythm he brings to our play are worth double the values imho.

He's a really good player, but i don't think he's in good form at the moment. Although he's always been a wide player, he may actually benefit from moving more centrally. Also, is he not right sided? And always playing on the left?
