Was a v good win, but no, disagree. McAllister, Wirtz and Gakpo How McCoist said how McAllister goes about his business quietly and efficiently - what business is that? Slow, ponderous and giving the ball away in stupid positions (again)!!. First half an hour they were easily getting between our mid and defense And Wirtz - he’s a brilliant footballer of that there is no doubt, but only doing a couple of show pony passes a couple of times a match and getting lauded for it is really pi33ing me off. He’s like a lightweight Smicer at the moment. Gotta do more that that! You can tell he’s used to a farmers league! I’m hoping he’ll end up like Bergkamp, where a better manager comes in and unlocks him otherwise he’s gonna be wasted drifting out of games Gakpo in his cameo on the right for 20 minutes, and when Mo went off was the liveliest he’s been all season, and although Mo was much much better, that electric 5% extra - it’s just gone and is so sad to see. There would in the past have been another couple of goals in two of those runs on to goal MOM was Kerkez by an absolute mile. Been fantastic for a while now Anyway, a win is a win, but let’s face it, we are all nervy about return to type next weekend with a low block, which wilL no doubt get a lot of column inches from our esteemed manager -
So. 5th place and Slot keeping his job, or 6th place and us getting Xabi There’s a brain teaser
-
Playing devils advocate 1. it was a pen all day long 2. Mo having a shot on goal after that is anything but a given
-
Incorrect. Only if he just received treatment, but as Joe immediately got stripped and ready then he could have been brought straight on
-
I think we all know the answer to that

That half was as bad as anything we’ve seen this year, and the benchmark for that is very high -

As much as I don’t want Arsenal to win it, I’m on board with it now, as City’s constant whining at refs from the manager and now Rhodri basically accusing the refs of blatant cheating is too much - they are a bunch of c*nts, and Arsenal are just annoying (and alas the best team in the league) Guardiola and his team are a bunch of w@ankers and can F off. That is all. -

Let’s not kid ourselves - Hugo the bright spark in a sea of mediocrity in red for 45 mins. Could be saving Slot’s job here. As great as that 15 mins was, the first 30 was dire -
Whether he’s good enough or not is another point, but why put him on the bench (not last night as realize he can’t play in Europe), but then when we need a RB bringing on, he’ll either move out best midfielders there, or put another midfielder that. I mean, whatever point of him even filling up a space on the bench if there is absolutely no intention of using him? Like ever!!
-
Nope. He had been gone a couple of months by then
-
I remember Broughton being the one that saved us from liquidation
-
Honestly. HONESTY!! Arne - just shut the f up mate. It’s plain embarrassing now
-
The greatest player we have ever had - but keep Steven Gerrard as far away from the dugout as is humanly possible please
-
It’s unthinkable that we aren’t - then again……..
-
Y’know what, this season can just feck off
-
There may be, and his name is Xabi

Arne - you’re spouting absolute s***e now. We’ve got fecking eyes y’know - give it a rest Liverpool manager Arne Slot speaking to BBC Sport's Match of The Day: "It is a cruel game if you lose in extra time after coming back from 2-0 down at half-time. "I think it was only 5-10 minutes in the first half where we didn't have total control, we played through them nicely a few times but we conceded twice and we went down to 10 men so that doesn't help. "It felt to me that if we were able to make up the 2-1, we would have been back in the game. We were a lot of the time in promising positions but we were 2-0 down and it did feel to me that we were going to score and get back in the game. "It is fair to say that in the last 10-minutes it was more open but I could see that my players were tired because we only had two days in between each game." -

wtf are they moaning about that goal. Nothing wrong with it whatsoever - still it gives Slot a tailor made excuse, lie block, injuries, bad luck blah blah fecking blah I’ve not been knee jerk about Slot, but he and his team/set up have sucked any joy of watching the reds. Our attacking with pathetic r - all if the attackers - our defending was shambolic and our ‘big’ players were nonentities (Salah and Wirtz mainly) Time’s up Arne. Thx for the memories -

Well, if we didn’t know before we certainly know now Mo is shot. alas, time’s up Mo And Wirtz. Jesus. If you want the opposition to have the ball, give it to Wirtz and your job is done. WTF is he even meant to be doing?? -
What a band. I went on tour with them once. Not quite how I survived to be honest but bloody hell, I’ll never forget it
-
I like him a lot - he is however he’s always injured. So he’ll fit right in!! I wonder if Anderson would be a better option
-
Yeah, he said everyone was wondering who the hell was this guy running rampant. Old school times eh
-
My old man was at that game
-
Yeah I agree way that. He’s gone at this level I’m afraid. Can’t remember the last time we saw the Mo we all love. Breaks your heart but there’s football!
