Portugal can keep hold of the ball with 10 men against Holland. England can't keep hold of the ball with 11 men against Trinidad and Tobago. Portugal will go through.

To be fair to the referee, the players gave him no option whatsoever. Some stupid play led to all the red cards (Deco holding onto the ball, bad tackles by Boularouz, bad tackle and stupid handball by Costinha, silly fouls from Bronckhorst) and I think he'd be a good choice for the final. Only thing he got wrong was not sending Figo off for the headbutt, but he had his back to that one.

Ref hasn't had much choice. I think he's had a good game, there's just loads of cynical fouls going on.
