Did he actually use the fact that they are not in the G14 as an excuse? Excuse me Jose but you actually need a footballing history (winning) to be included in the G14 not just be bankrolled by some Russian!! Has anyone got any links to his his latest b******s about wanting Benfica to win it and not being in the G14 as an excuse?

God I really do hate the clasless c***! Him and Chelski really where made for each other! After the game his interview on ITV all he could go on about was the fact that after the penatly the ref never played any more time, Barca never beat them 11 v 11 and that the best team lost! There was not any time added on because there where only 2 mins of added time and when Barca kicked off it was nearly the 93rd minute and it wasn't a penalty anwyay Terry must have taken some diving lessons off Cole, Robben and Drogba to win it! Barca where clearly the better team over the 2 legs, in the first leg you didn't touch the ball until you went down to 10 men. The best team didn't loose tonight they won just like they did at Anfield in the semi-final last season and for such a great coach who has spent over £200 million how come your best players are the ones who where there when you arrived? Terry, Lampard, Cech etc.... and your only tactic when you are losing is to stick a s*** Centre Half as a striker! Everytime I hear him speak it makes me all the more greateful that we've got Rafa!

But don't people who are looking to seriously invest and with the boards agreement (which I believe the Krafts did as well) get to see the figures in a lot more detail (can't remember the terminology used) and see things that might necesseraly be in the annual report?

Rushian - Didn't Morgan and Moores agree a deal in principal though (I think in his 3rd bid) but then once Morgan seen the books (not sure the name of it but where they look into the books in more depth because a deal had been provisionally agreed) and then he revised his offer because of the extra money that would be needed to pump into the club because of the bigger debts than he originally believed? This could have been where Morgan got the £70 Million debt figure from, that he brought up in the AGM?

There where more players on the pitch that where worse than Cisse but he is the easy target isn't he! I'll tell you what let's try Nando, Crouch or Fowler on the right wing and see how they do!!!!! Cisse played on the right today and had 2 fantastic saves from Myhre stopping him from scoring even though he was played out of position!

Get off his back!! I'm not his biggest fan for his whinging but today he has worked his b******s off and the only time he his screamed or shouted is when the keeper has made a brilliant save from his shot! Myhre has had a cracking game, just hope Rafa gives this 11 another 30 mins at least with maybe Alonso on for Didi and Risse for Djimi!

Anny, Cisse and Nando started the same amount of games in the Qualfiers (4 games) Cisse came on as sub twice, Nando once! Cisse scored 5 goals and Nando scored 2 (a third of his season total) - so if you are taking Cisse's goals away, then take Nando's and which means he has scored 4 all season and Cisse 7! are you also going to take Gerrards 6 goals away because it was only qualifiers! You've got to use one rule for all! I've said before that this isn't a Cisse vs Nando issue for me, I just think Nando's had more than his fair share of chances and it's now time for somebody else to get their chance firstly fowler, then Cisse! I also personally don't think Nando and Crouch work as a partnership (as stated previously) and I would start crouch first! I don't think Rafa should have let both Sinama and Mellor go on loan, I can see the thinking behind it but personally I would have only let one of them go!

Anny please read my whole post about how I think we should play either Nando or Crouch with Fowler or Cisse and that my preffered partenership would be Crouch and Fowler. How can you ignore the fact that Nando can't score at the moment either and we are struggling to score goals as a team and recently it has cost us! I've said Cisse isn't my favourite player and I've said previously in other posts that he can be lazy but he is still our top goalscorer at the moment but he still wouldn't be my first choice! I think that when we play Nando and Crouch they are both too similar and as a result of it we struggle to score goals which our recent run of goals in games would back up, they both play too deep and aren't out and out goalscorers and out of the two at the moment I'd play Crouch. Please don't try and turn my comments into a Nando vs Cisse post as that wasn't what I was saying at all re-read my post again! You're previous post was obviously loaded just so you could reply with the above! Cisse must be able to do something with it as he's scored twice as many as Nando in less games all season. Yes he can be lazy and yes he can whinge but he can also find the back of the net more often than Nando in a Red Shirt!

The Crux of the matter is we are struggling to score goals and kill off teams at the moment and recently it has hurt us and cost us points! Birmingham at home, Chelsea away, United away, Arsenal at home it took until the 87th minute despite total dominating even United and City at Home when we where hanging on for the last 5 / 10 minutes despite dominating for most of the games. We've got Crouch who holds the ball up and brings others into play just as well as Nando and is also more of a threat in front of goal, take Sunday - one off the bar, one just wide of the post and one cleared off the line yet Nando had one shot which was more of a back-pass to james after being put in by Didi. When we play both Crouch and Nando we rarely have anyone attacking the ball or anyone in the 6 yard box and the ball over the top is just a non-starter and besides Gerrard very few midfielders actually run past the strikers! I personally would play Crouch or Nando with Fowler or Cisse and currently it would be Crouch and Fowler, I don't think we look a threat up-front when we play Crouch and Nando together! Occasionaly I wouldn't mind seeing Fowler and Cisse either! yes I'd give him a chance and please don't mention 1 miss against united which I thought was shocking for a striker but I also think Nando's recent 3 air shots where he totally missed the ball were shocking for a strker! I'm not Cisse's biggest fan by a long way but I think Nando has had a fair shot!

I think one of the above or even both should be given the same chance that Nando has been given, if they don't perform or score in the same amount of starts / time then we can judge them!

Not just picking on your post mate but why when someone judges something Rafa does, i.e constantly play Nando when he is not scoring etc... do people always roll out the fact he won the European Cup? I think Rafa is doing a great job and that night in Istanbul will live with me forever as one of the greatest nights and for that I am eternerly greatful to Rafa but because he won us the European Cup doesn't mean he can't make mistakes (in some peoples eyes) with team selections etc..... Houllier won us the treble and then went and signed probably the worst 3 signings in his reign in Cheyrou, Diao and Diouf but where these not mistakes because he had just won us the treble? Look at what Alex Ferguson has done at United but is signing Djemba-Djemba and Kleberson and the fact he hasn't signed a plyer as a Roy Keane replacement not hurting united because of all the Trophies he has won in the past? What about Wenger he has worded miracles at Arsenal but it has cost him this season because he sold viera and let edu go without signing any replacements, but is this not a mistake because of everything he has won in the past? All I am saying is some people (including me) believe Rafa is showing massive favouritism to a striker who isn't scoring goals or creating goals for others., just like GH did when Heskey didn't score for 24 games. I am sick of hearing just wait until Nando is fit, wait until he get's that one goal or wait until he get's a run in the side then watch the goals go in. Well in 14 months he's had all those chances and I'm still waiting for the goals to go in! I think Nando has had a fair run in the team and it's time to give another striker the same chance Nando has had (and IMHO no taken) be that Fowler or Cisse! Everytime somebody posts something they slightly disagree with Rafa on (and it is a discussion board) can we just stop with the "We'll I know who I trust more - Rafa who won the European Cup more than somebody who posts on a forum and has won nothing". Before anyone jumps on me as being anti-Rafa, I believe he is one of the best if not the best managers in European / World Football and we are extremely lucky to have him at the club but that doesn't mean that I have to agree with every substitution he makes, tactical decision or constant picking of a player out of form!

I've also seen Cise win us the Super Cup single handedly which alot on here have convieniently forgotten - what has nando ever won us with a performance like that? Sean Dundee and Eric Meijer used to give their all let's sign them back they couldn't hit a barn door either!

I'm not Cisse's biggest fan but if he'd have had half the chances of starting that Nando has had he'd have scored a lot more goals than Nando and probably had more assists as well! Yeah whatever softlad! we'll he'll need another 50 going on his current form won't he! Current Liverpool Striker abilites: don't moan! Strikers are paid to score or stick Sami up front!

Cisse has started 4 games in the last 14 games! I'd be pissed off in his position and I'm a fan of 25+ years so no wonder someone who hasn't got any affinity to the club is annoyed watching Nando missing any opportunity that comes his way and not scoring in 14 games. I'll have a bet with you here and now that Cisse will score more goals per games until the end of the season than Nando and if Nando works so hard for the team why does he keep giving the ball away?

I honestly think you've hit the nail on the head with that statement and it is the only thing I can fault Rafa for! I am so glad he is here as our manager and what he has already done for the club but in this sense with Nando he is like GH with Heskey (sorry Kev ) No I expect a Liverpool STRIKER to actually score goals like most Liverpool supporters or didn't you hear 44000+ at Anfield today?

Have I got a short memory? because according to the OS Garcia didn't score in the only game we've played everton in this season and that was away on the 28th december! Do you want a link to remind yourself and help your own memory! In the last 12 games Nando has started 9, come on as a sub in 1 and been injured for the other 2! I'd love to know where you got your stats from because I've just gone through the OS and the figures I get for Cisse is: Starts: 4 Not started and not come on: 3 Come on as Sub: 7 Please let me know where you got your stats from then!
