I had a cabbie in manchester boast to me once, about the game at Old Trafford immediately after Hillsborough, them singing "where's your famous munich song?". He was so proud it was pathetic, but unfortunately, the presence of the Shipman song in the current repetoire tells me that if Hillsborough had happened to Man United, some of us would be singing songs about it. He's often unfairly criticised, I think its cool that fergie chose to share that with us, i'm all for more transparency when it comes to managers planning before crucial games like this

That team last night, with morientes and garcia up front would've been far more likely to score, with or without gerrard in the middle for sissoko.

I think ultimately Garcia has to play up front, he's the only forward we have at the moment who you expect to score if a ball falls to him in the box.

...that Cisse had a good game on the wing last night? Had we signed Victor and he put in that kind of performance we would all be raving about him.

Crouches heading was the most frustrating part of our play for me, it's been going a fair while, as you say, he's always under the ball, 9 times out of 10 it seems. If he's up front alone, no chance, this is why we didnt score at the beginning of the season.

And what use would they be?

I thought he had his moments early last season, but he is consistently a liability now, worse than Traore.
