I take your point on that in fairness. Few people could name too many other players from the Napoli or Argentina sides that Maradona led. And there's also the fact that every single Ronaldinho moment is covered on TV and replayed constantly as well as being downloadable from the net. It was something I noticed when Best died, the footage of him was pretty limited and I'm sure some of his best moments were never televised. But still, Ronaldinho for me has everything all the greats had and something extra, an incredible ability to amaze. The time to judge of course is when he retires but the arguement that he's playing for a great team also applies to greats like Pele, Best, Platini etc. Apart from Liverpool, barca are the only team I change plans to see and its all because of Ronaldinho. Genius

This is a big shout and I'm sure many will disagree strongly, but I've come to the conclusion that Ronaldinho is the best footballer of all time. And by the time he retires he'll have no equal. The guy is sensatonal. Watcing the game now versus Deportivo, 2 mins gone, he's pulled off a fantastic back heel to send Silvinho clear. Foul conceded. He sticks it in the top corner, and if I was betting on it I'd have put my house on him scoring it. Genius of a footballer. Opinions ......

It would be very easy for the silent majority of dignified well behaved supporters ( the ones who gave a superb round of applause as Smith was carried off ) to have their reputation tainted by a minority of mindless scumbags. Lets cut the waffle, anyone who throws s*** at people, regardless of what they were singing, or attacks an ambulance no matter who's in it, is a neanderthal. Theres nothing that justifies that kind of behaviour, absolutely nothing. In my view the most redeeming qualities of our club are our dignity, pride and sportsmanship. Losing that or having it taken from us by a minority of idiots would be a tragedy.

Thats a load of rubbish The great teams never had to cheat because they were good enough to win playing football. Chelsea would still win the league without resorting to all the diving and histrionics they indulge in, but their smalltime mindset convinces them its being clever to behave that way. They have enough good players to be champions on ability and effort alone but they choose not to. We're above that, always have been and hopefully always will be.
